What are you talking about, they come across the channel. If Brains were made of dynamite you would not have enough to blow your cap off, you would struggle to have enough to singe your eyebrows Which bit of virtually all Rivers end up meeting the sea, the chain barriers as posted above are on two rivers that flow into two Ports, the chain stops the Taxi boats carrying Migrants getting to the Channel during the hours of darkness, it disrupts the smugglers Yup rivers. 😂

Out government has totally lot all sense of reality and humanity. The government looked into putting floating barriers in the English Channel to stop asylum seekers crossing to the UK, a leaked document shows. The Home Office approached the trade group Maritime UK over the possible use of temporary "marine fencing", in a request for ideas sent over the summer. This, it said, must be able to "prevent a slow-moving, heavily overloaded migrant boat from making progress". Totally illegal of course and nothing a good set of wire cutters couldn't handle. What next, drain the channel and make them walk? Dunno about floating barriers, but at least it shows the government are thinking along the right lines, at long last. And it's not illegal for any country with a sea border to stop people or vessels entering their territorial waters. This is the problem with you outraged lefties, you don't know anything.

It is if it endangers life and obstructs traffic. Should we rename the Tories as JSOTories?

The government could if they choose (And god only knows why they don't) lawfully stop anyone or any vessel entering British territorial waters. And the only people who are endangering life are: 1. People smugglers 2. Criminals who cross the channel 3. EU and French authorities who allow it to continue

If people pay criminals to get them from safe country 'A' to safe country 'B', then they are not refugees or asylum seekers. They are fuckin criminals. Dont you lefties understand that it's against the law for people to pay traffickers/smugglers to get them into a different country? And the only people who can stop criminals putting to sea are on the other side of the channel, in the EU and France.
