Imo I would accept ‘ genuine asylum seekers ‘ who didn’t want to stay in a safe country and instead used a criminal gang to illegally enter the UK have virtually zero chances in obtaining asylum . Especially if it made the economic migrants chances virtually impossible.

It's you who's ignorant RR. The current law is that those who come from France are not entitled to asylum, because France is a safe country. What they're claiming is that they're being "trafficked" because of Theresa May's daft "Modern Slavery Act". Which is quite strange because if they're being trafficked I would have thought that they would want to return to France. Again you get it wrong. T he law as it stands now means that if they come across on small boats they are not allowed to claim asylum because we have removed that right. If the are being trafficked they have paid someone to bring them here so why would they want to go back. That's what I said. They're not entitled to asylum so that decision can be made immediately now. As for "hrafficking" I think the wording of May's bill has been reworded. It used to be so badly worded that anyone could claim they'd been trafficked. So it should be much easier now for the Home Office to make their decision to reject these people's claims. But the next obvious problem is where to deport them to. France won't want them back.
