I was reading about a woman in Kettering on the BBC site, she's got pennies left in her prepaid meter and owes £11k in bills for electricity. After reading the article I felt sorry for her. I was going to send her some cash to help her out. Then I found facebook posts of hers, spending £80+ on cinema visits and she also spent a fortune on tattoos all during the period she was building up electric debts. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-63398234What's the point in helping people who won't help themselves ?

Its like saying why should them who have erotic lifestyle like drinking alcohol or smoking or eating to much.
Has for going to the cinema we don't know if she lives alone and goes to the cinema to socialise
Would you feel the same if here chosen place to socialising was the local pub..
Has down to tattoos a lot of people with tats especially over doing it have insecure problems

I wonder how many who get the vouchers from the government towards their energy bills will just use it for their own vanity etc?

People can do whatever they want imo. As long as I don’t have to pay for it or to get them out of the shit afterwards.

She has a husband and kids. Admittedly the guy is disabled. I initially felt sorry for her and was going to forward money to her via the BBC.
But her spending habits (going by her online posts) it's no wonder she's got no cash. Kindness will not help. She has to learn.

Bit harsh. Maybe she is looking for a job as the tattooed lady in a circus?
And if she can have some hormone treatment and grow a beard.......

I'm not against her having tattoos, her tattoos are extremely artistic and extremely well done, it's just the "ooh poor me, I don't have any money" position when she's squandered her cash.
If I can find this out, so can the BBC... I'd have helped, but not now.

Its like saying why should them who have erotic lifestyle like drinking alcohol or smoking or eating to much. Actually, having an erotic lifestyle can be quite cheap, or so I'm told.
