Brexit brought out the worst in politicians and politics.
The remoaners from the Tories Lib-dems Labour,they joined some sort of remoaner pact, you can excuse Labour and the Lib-dems because they don't care about bringing down the Tories, but here we have insider Tory traitors who don't care about bringing the Tories down, all they care about is rejoining the EU.
They are betraying the Tory party and the people, there is a clear pattern in the Tory party that suggests sabotage, they are blocking any policy that goes against the remoaners ideology, so Sunak is up against Labour the Lib-dems and his own in-house treacherous backstabbing remoaner traitors.
Indeed it did because the electorate did the unthinkable and didn’t do as it was told,this has happened in other countries where referenda were ignored or rerun till they voted the right way. We are going through a lengthier process where with the assistance of Westminster a democratic vote is thwarted,discredited step by step until they get the result they want. Probably because politicians won't admit the failure of their globalist policies, so instead they tweak it constantly and seem to think they can convince the plebs they are victories not failures, which puts them in the category of the insane. |

It takes 50,000 miles per electric car to break even on carbon dioxide used to make the car. By that time the battery is half way to being fucked. Keeping a 2nd hand conventional petrol or diesel car on the road uses far less CO2. Far better therefore to keep old cars on the road and develop renewable fuels for them... That way they become part of a closed cycle. You can pontificate about intelligence all you like, but you do not have much knowledge about motor vehicles, gas boilers or the environment. And most importantly of all, the role of tropical rainforests in moderating the climate, and the role deforestation has in rainforest countries in contributing to climate change needs to be addressed. Because without addressing that, all the technology in the world will make fuck all difference to the climate. Intelligent people would go after Brazil, Madagascar, Indonesia and other rainforest destroying nations. The correct approach is to say to such countries, ok, we don't want to be nasty, but we need the rainforests. The world needs the rainforests. Replant those forests and we developed countries will give you lots of money from carbon taxes to maintain and expand the rainforests. Destroy those forests and the developed world will sanction you and you'll go into recession. We don't want to do that, we don't want to be enemies, but the rainforests are vital to the planet. Can we work together as friends? |

Well we have had the same policies enacted since 1997 - of course you could always argue that New Labour were not of the 'left' Well I'd agree they were centre left. Certainly not a bunch of lefties. JC got rejected by the electorate, was an opportunity if we did want a "lefty". After 10 years of austerity and culture wars, there isn't a lot left, so the government only have the culture wars. im not sure i would agree new labour were centre left. I suppose you could argue the new labour 1997 manifesto was centre left andrew , but the many policies his government ended up implementing werent in my opinion.
Such as the hated tuition fees , retention of tory spending plans , anti union legislation , keeping trident , attack on welfare ,and so on. Not to mention new labours bonfire of civil liberties , which is i suppose the hallmark of both left or right wing authoritarian regimes.
They certainly werent a bunch of middle ground misty eyed centre lefties despite the claims.
