Labour would use barges to temporarily house asylum seekers, says Stephen Kinnock
I have absolutely no problem what so ever with barges been used to house Asylum Seekers, and you will not find any of my posts where I do object to their use. However, what I do object to is the FACT that the barge about to be used, would not be allowed to to house 500 prisoners, hotel guests or students because it breeches fire regulations. The government have changed the law so that Fire Regulations do not apply to Asylum Seekers, and I find that morally unacepptable - and indefensible. But more to the point, the topic is specifically about The Windrush Scandal ( Not Asylum Seekers ), and I stick to my assertion, which some posters have challenged. No person from any British colony was required to do anything, they were not required to register, fill in papers or prove they had the right to be here. STICK TO THE TOPIC i will post what i like sid. Debate ebbs and flows , especially when you are pointing out new labour hypocrisy.
Its interesting the lengths starmer will go to to say anything to anyone to get elected. Its also funny watching his desperation. Here , on the overall subject of migration , do you and your ilk seriously think the right of uk politics and its supporters take the labour party seriously on controlling immigration?
When you realise that fact , do you then seriously think those who believe in left wing ideals are seriosuly going to stick with labour while they attempt to woo the right ?
The conclusion you come to sid , is in the end , new labour are going to alienate everyone with their all things to all men to get elected mantra. We are already seeing this in scotland regarding the rutherglen by election , with the labourt party candidate being reduced to telling scots he isnt going to support keir starmers policies , such is the hatred of starmer and the red tories in scotland .Of course the labour candidate , like his masters , think people are stupid.
The overall feeling i get when talking politics in and out of the interwebby is while politicians cant be trusted , labour and keir starmer take the bar to a new low.

You see, leftism is more akin to a religion than a rational belief. So no matter how often its tenets are debunked its believers will continue just the same and call anyone who disagrees nasty names.

Such false and missleading statements include attempts to suggest arrivals from the Caribbean were required to register, or fill in forms, or provide some form of proof that they had a right to reside in this country. THis is categorically not true, and though I have asked for any kind of proof, evidence or link to such, so far none has been provided. Let me repeat this once again : The Windrush Scandal was a scandal entirely of the British governments making THOSE ARE THE FACTS |
