..fail to respond sensibly to questions raised about a serious issue.
It's hardly a "serious" debate once someone starts talking about effectively banning an entire religion.
"My personal opinion is that Islam should be removed from the list of accepted religions. After all there is no word in Arabic for "religion" as such - Islam is called a "din" which roughly translates to "way of life", and it includes stuff like laws and political views. However, this will never happen, of course, so the exclusion of muslims from the country has to involve some lateral thinking. Trump (and Obama) tried to do it by banning immigration from countries that sponsor terrorism - but was scuppered by the judiciary. Denmark are doing it by making life harder for ALL immigrants - like halving benefits etc. I prefer taking a legalistic approach to the muslim problem. I'd ban halal slaughter and ban the import of halal meat. I'd shut down mosques that preach terrorism. basically I'd ban all religious exemptions. That would work over time".
The point is - which is too complex for you no doubt - that Islam is an unreformed medieval religion with a medieval law system and a nasty political ideology attached that believes in world domination. It's basically very similar to Nazism with the Third Reich and their belief in their own superiority to non-believers.
The question is whether you want to do anything about it? Do you just say that "it's a religion so it's OK" or do you recognise that it's more than a religion. Do you think it's OK for members of National Action, who are apparently a Neo-Nazi party who believe in White Supremacy, to be locked up even if they do nothing, while saying that's it's perfectly OK for muslims to follow equally obnoxious views with no sanction against them.
It's particularly strange when Islamic terrorism is causing mayhem across the world - with hundreds of people being murdered in the UK and thousands maimed - while the so-called "far Right" have yet to kill anyone.
