Labour descended into chaos over the Nigel Farage de-banking scandal today as Rachel Reeves slammed No10 for forcing the NatWest boss to quit. The shadow chancellor complained Alison Rose had faced 'bullying attitudes' - hinting that she might have been a victim of sexism. Another frontbencher griped that ministers had been 'so quick' to intervene against the 'business leader'. But divisions at the top of the party were laid bare as Keir Starmer backed the dramatic departure of Dame Alison, insisting NatWest 'got this one wrong' and she 'had to resign' after briefing the BBC on details of Mr Farage's finances. linkYes it's difficult to believe, Labours shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves has said Dame Alison Rose was bullied out, and is the victim of sexism. The fact that Dame Alison lied and broke the golden rule of customer confidentiality is apparently irrelevant to Rachel Reeves. And Keir Starmer has at long last commented, since everyone else has I suppose he felt left out. But don't hold your breath, by lunchtime tomorrow he will have changed his mind.

Rachel Reeves is like a house trained Angela Rayner.

Sounds as if Labour have given some thought as to how to approach this. Sir Keir issuing the words and views that will play well with the majority of more sensible members of the public, and Reeves saying the necessary that will appeal to the Wokeists. Both bases covered.

Both bases covered. No Hutchyns, I disagree. The majority of more sensible voters are seeing through Starmer, the closer we get to the next election the more obvious it becomes that he is totally focused on being popular. He agrees with whoever he is talking to. Recently in a meeting in some community centre in London he agreed with angry residents who were against Ulez. A few hours later on LBC he supported Ulez. A couple of weeks ago he refused to condemn Dame Alison Rose, today he joined a chorus of people who said she should have gone. He is glued to the fence because he is terrified of the polls turning against Labour. As for Rachel Reeves, yes indeed she is nothing if not consistent.

Maybe she was trying to spare the manfrog's feelings. She said that his contract was terminated because he didn't have enough money, when, in reality, it was terminated because they thought the public thought he was a bit of a dick. Nobody wants to hear that about themselves, Red. I say she's just too considerate for her own good.

Einy, sadly you are nothing if not predictable. And you are, very predictable. As I said, nobody wants to hear that nobody likes them. So, this nice woman said that they didn't terminate because he was a bit of a dick but because he just didn't have enough money. She was thinking of his feelings, Red. The sad thing is Einy, being a lefty you are incapable of seeing the big picture. If a millionaire lefty had been cancelled someone like...Corbyn, or Lansman (Yes I know it would never happen but lets pretend) I have every confidence you and like minded lefties would be doing backflips, you would not be impressed. The thing is, as much as I disagree with Corbyn and Lansmans politics, I would absolutely slag any bank off who decided to debank them. And that's the difference between a sensible centre right chap, and a lefty who cant see further than his own nose.

Even former slave-trading banks have their standards.

Rachel reeve ( i will be tougher on benefit cheats than the tories) epitomises all that is wrong with the modern labour party , not just over the farage affair , but much wider. She is either a complete moron , or thinks we are.
As things progress each day , we are hearing more and more of labours dissatisfaction os starmers leadership , and growing infighting among the brothers and sisters.
long may it continue .

Labour are still bitter about democracy going against them and hate with a passion anyone responsible for their failures over the last 13 years. Nigel Farage in particular, because he dared to talk about immigration and cause a debate about the matter.
The fact that he's now a non politician, and no longer going to be standing, doesn't matter. They're bitter.
But, if they'd listened to him, they'd have been in government this last 8 years. They only have themselves to blame.

They only have themselves to blame. Maybe, they don't like the fact that Farage is a Putin enabler. Some people don't like Putin. The AfD like Putin too. You seem to have a lot of respect for people who have shown support for Putin, Iggy. It's another of your weird contradictions.
