Dear Forumers,
I have been asked to have involvement with the RWP, the Real Women's Party. It is a new political party with a manifesto for right-wing gay women.
The RWP's analysis shows that if there was Proportional Representation in Britain then this party could have enough support to win at least 30 seats. But under the unfair system of First Past The Post it would be a great achievement for them to get just one seat at the next General Election.

I have to admit that's one of the most persuasive arguments I've read to convince me we need to retain first past the post. While a couple of benches of SNP members are bad enough, the thought of 30 reactionary shaven headed lezzies screeching for the Speaker's attention just doesn't bear contemplating.

There is no web page yet for the RWP, it is being constructed.
I don't know what percentage of the UK population are actually right wing gay women. But anyone would be welcome to join, and the party's manifesto would have wide appeal across all of society.
And why should it be assumed that RWP members would all have their heads shaved? Look at my photo, I don't do that.

If you'd been caned more frequently at school Veronika, it might have encouraged you to read more attentively. No one's assumed all RWP members would have their heads shaved .... only their prospective parliamentary candidates ..... and by the way I'm also assuming the RWP is entirely a figment of your over active imagination. But what good would seeing your photo do ? .... you're only at the stage of being 'asked to have involvement'. Get back to us IF you decide to join, and when the website is up we'll learn if a fully shaven head is a condition of membership. Could be a long wait, as I feel the RWP will be concentrating on 'analysis' for a good while yet.

If you are so focused on accurate reality then why do you assume that all of the RWP's "prospective parliamentary candidates" would have their heads shaved? You say that I may have benefited if I had been caned frequently, but perhaps you deserve the cane more.

If you are seriously seeking to stand candidates in Westminster parliament constituencies i have some advice
When a writ is served fir a general or by election, you have a time period usually a few weeks befire the ‘short campaign’ time window closes.
Prior to that date anyone is legally entitled to call themselves a prospective parliamentary candidate, and stand on the street with a luridly coloured plastic bucket labelled ‘donations’ snd see how fast you can entice passers by to throw money into a hat to help pay your £500 parliamentary nomination …..
If you have not managed £500 soon, maybe voters may ignore you at the ballot box

I would consider doing your suggestion wearing just my underwear, not in order to try to get special attention but in the name of political transparency and openness. If public members gave donations then that would also be great to help the RWP's campaign strategies.

I hope you act on that Veronika then post photos on here, voting for your party is a serious consideration, as i have no one to vote for being Tory. Maybe money could be made if you branch out from photos to making a film, two right wing gals meet, fall in love, then an extended close ups of where it goes from there.

It is a serious option to campaign in that way because for me being in just my underwear feels normal and natural in many situations. I have been to the supermarket sometimes in just my underwear, but I also wear a pair of trainers. No one in the shop commented anything to me about this. An ex-girlfriend was right-wing, she was really into it. She had a swastika tattoo in an intimate place, and various piercings.

If you cannot manage to persuade a number of passers by to donate to your party’s cause, stsnding candidates is pointless. |
