Nor have you , the Hotel is in Wales run by a Labour Government the Council who objected to the change of usage to accommodate Alleged Asylum Seekers/Economic Migrants that entered England unlawfully that you welcome with open arms to our shores by the boatload, will be driven there a journey paid for by the Taxpayers. Taxpayers will fund their entire stay there probably for many months if not longer. On top of that lots of local people who worked in that Hotel some for years are now out of work, arranged weddings booked months in advance to be held in the Hotel have been cancelled , locals also fear that the presence of these people may damage the local economy as Tourist will stay away, a protest has already taken place about their concerns. Perhaps you should pop down there and pacify the local residents put them at their ease, but I suggest you don't you may well get your arsed kicked Hence the objection. |

Protest against illegal immigrants and you'll get a heavy handed response from the Authorities. Why don't these protesters think to bring a 'Just Stop Oil' placard along with them ? ..... it would ensure they'd be dealt with far more reasonably.

The report I read states two arrest were made, locals are not happy and who can blame them some have lost their jobs, it appears they tied to contractors getting off site, then a Protesters probably outsiders in favour of the alleged Asylum Seekers turned up, what an insult to the locals IMO

Good article on this issue highlighting the damage done to communities across the land by the failure to stop illegal immigration.
Even the Germans are laughing at us..
Llanelli is a poor town, just getting by like so many, and to lose 95 incomes with hotel staff being laid off is a disaster. As residents point out, you can’t get an appointment at the doctor’s although, no doubt, a GP will be up to see the illegal arrivals in our country faster than you can say “uncontrolled borders”.
The gap between the bien-pensant Westminster elite’s attitude to illegal migration and the experience of normal people is now a terrifying chasm.
