The four star Stradley Park Hotel and Spa is tucked in the Welsh hillside, standing proud over the world famous Gower and Carmarthenshire coastline, has just sacked all it's staff and is closed to paying guests for the foreseeable future. Yes you guessed it, it's the latest luxury hotel to accommodate illegals from France. Well yes, in many cases I'm sure you're right. In this case however, the Stradley Park Hotel & Spa in Llanelli, is owned by Sterling Woodrow Investments. According to Companies House the directors are Robert Horwood and Gareth Street and the company is registered in Billericay Essex. |

Ninety-five full and part time staff were told last week they would be losing their jobs with the last day being July 10.
Weddings and all events after that date have been cancelled.
In an attempt to block the scheme, Carmarthenshire county council is taking the hoteliers and Home Office’s contractors to the High Court on Friday, July 7. It claims they have changed the use of the hotel without planning permission.
It will be the first of three legal actions in the next week as two further councils go to the High Court on July 12 and 13 in a bid to prevent the Home Office from turning two former air bases, RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire and Wethersfield in Essex, into shelter for migrants.

I think you will find that Planning Regulations is dealt with at local levels by County councils, District, borough or city councils, Parish or town councils, not the Home Office

Nor have you , the Hotel is in Wales run by a Labour Government the Council who objected to the change of usage to accommodate Alleged Asylum Seekers/Economic Migrants that entered England unlawfully that you welcome with open arms to our shores by the boatload, will be driven there a journey paid for by the Taxpayers. Taxpayers will fund their entire stay there probably for many months if not longer.
On top of that lots of local people who worked in that Hotel some for years are now out of work, arranged weddings booked months in advance to be held in the Hotel have been cancelled , locals also fear that the presence of these people may damage the local economy as Tourist will stay away, a protest has already taken place about their concerns.
Perhaps you should pop down there and pacify the local residents put them at their ease, but I suggest you don't you may well get your arsed kicked
