Blair's so called reforms of the 90s are still showing. All he did was fill it with Blairites.
Use the Parliaments act. Abolish the Lords.

If i may I think two elected houses would work a damn sight better than tbe unicameral extremism we see in Cardiff. Im sure as a supporter at any price of the supposed majority partner in that shithole you see things differently. I think if the twat in tbe bay had to get his barking mad ideas past any sort of proper review they’d be torn to shreds. You already know the Parliament Act gives the House of Commons full authority to dump the Lords remonstrations if need be And the Upper and Lower houses have been at each others throats pretty much continuously since 1760 to my knowledge through study. Each successive Orime Minister threatens to flood the upper house with peers that see it his way thats why there are 650 and soon to be only 600 MPs and about 900 Lords. |

The government is now committed to not letting them in and finding another country to stick them in. In my view, preferably where they came from so they can tell their mates what British prisons are like. You see they have the power to detain them in the UK until chucked out. UN cretins are livid, meaning they know we aint taking this shit any more. You have the attitude of an idealist. This was hell to push through the Lords with some 18 amendments. It's tough enough to get started and then we will see how it goes. There will be more measures if they still find a legal blag. |
