You can see why policing is in the state that it is when the priority of the top brass is banning badges commemorating fallen colleagues whilst jumping on every woke political bandwagon possible.
Braverman should require a public apology from the senior officer concerned.

The whole point of Police uniform is to make them easily recognisable to members of the public. Standardisation of that uniform is an aid to that. They should all look the same. Most forces allow the display of medal ribbons. IMO no other badges or non standard items should be on the uniform. Including the thin blue line flag, or any other flag, rainbow, or whatever. Dont talk lefty rubbish there's a good chap. To suggest that a British policeman should not wear the small thin blue line emblem in recognition of fallen police officers suggests to me that you don't really understand what comradeship is. Looks like CC Nick Adderley in Northamptonshire agrees with you. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-66118464He's a great boss!

Met Police commissioner Sir Mark Rowley said the badge was "contentious"...and he was "cautious" about officers "showing allegiance to any cause" on their uniform...
Which police force was it who wore rainbow helmets, rainbow badges and drove rainbow cars? That's right, the Met. This Rowley character is a minority appeasing wanker.

"Cautious" and "Contentious". What utter bollocks. What he really means is that he lacks the balls to back up his officers. Rowley is a manager but Adderley is a leader.

Chief constable Nick Adderley should be applauded, well done him.
