The weekend edition of The i newspaper exclusively carries a story that the government is considering a referendum on membership of The ECHR. This is in response to the governments policy on sending migrants to Rwanda been ruled unlawful, but other Tories are saying it would be "Brexit Part 2" and would complete the unfinished part of Brexit. Other Tories are saying it "might just work" meaning its perhaps their only hope of staying in power at the next general election.  |
