Where in all this is there one word that can be described as hate If you see hate in this your comprehension skills are sorely lacking,I picked on this particular piece because this is factually correct And this is displaying no hate One thread not dozens on a subject that is important to air in a considered way and that there are two sides to every story. And since you bring refugees in to this,people fleeing persecution have always been sheltered in this country,economic migrants and fleeing criminals should not,the eu are now recognising this a problem and as I have stated before the whole asylum system needs an overhaul. Regards transgender there are people born in the wrong body and are entitled to live their lives in peace,what activists are not entitled to do is create a a societal rift and push their agenda on vulnerable people. Finally create the impression that anyone who disagrees with what is happening as some intellectually challenged neo nazi it’s par for the course and I’ve heard it all before. |

Due to the fact that I have a Transgender friend, I have to think long and hard about this issue, which in my view is not really an issue.
The first thing to accept in your mind is - that SOME people genuinely do believe they are the wrong sex, and that feeling is so overwhelming that they will go to great lengths in an attempt to alter their sex, appearance, going as far as adding or removing body parts.
You can either simply accept these people for WHO they are ( not what they are ), and get on with life, or you can be outraged and decide in your own mind that many of these people are potential rapists, paedophiles or perverts, which evidence DOES NOT support.
My own conclusion is that Transgender females are not females, they are biologically male, however they do me no harm, and they do no one any harm, the Transgender woman ( M to F ) I know is a very pleasant and genuine person.
Just live and let live - let people be what they want to be

If I may make so bold, I doubt that many people have any issues with the transgender community. There are however, issues with self-determined gender identity opportunists.
There is a world of difference between someone with gender dysphoria and someone identifying as trans in order to commit crimes.
The former is genuine and deserves societys support, the latter is a piss-taker and does not. And conflating the two, from any direction, is disingenuous.

I'm sure this is mostly right, and while one or two exceptions such as Eddie Izzard or Michelle Obama might get the thumbs down, it's mainly a case of live and let live if the transgenders/crossdressers don't bother us or our families.
It's only when the likes of Transgender Storytime gets foisted upon their young kids, that people start declaring there is a line that they are not prepared to see being stepped over. Most of the time we can live in complete harmony with a trans this or a trans that .... I've even got a transcontinental as my avatar.

There is a world of difference between drag, with its bawdy, sexualised innuendo which has no place in childrens story time and gender dysphoria ie genuine trans people who are simply trying to get on with their lives.
Again, it suits certain agendas to conflate the two and again it's wholly disingenuous.
