If you switch banks, they do all the switching for you so they know you had a previous one and you're OK. Apply for a new account and they ask for your previous bank and why you left. I very very much doubt you Google anything that says you'll get a negative credit score if your bank ditches you on the grounds of your 'political preference'.
However, it will be on your credit file your 'previous' banks, and being one of those exclusive 'Coutts' bank customers, alarm bells would start ringing ...ding aling ding.. why you would have left such a prestigious bank to join a high street chain ... and of course all of your associates would become suspicious if they started thought Farage was now a 'NatWest' customer and not a Coutts customer, it might put them off dealing with him ... it's a blot on his social standing.
Its not about having a negative credit score. Its about being refused a bank account. Few banks can be bothered to find out why you lost your account, they just say no. No we are having a moment, when even Darling has denied Experian who it just so happens know better. As for being debanked it is way above Darlings pay grade, you have to start small. |

I hear that he and Gina Miller are about to become 'squillionaires'. I suspect that nobody outside his GB News viewers will have any interest in this story in a few weeks' time. I suspect that you just made that up. The fact is that Farage will have more public exposure , have a brand new hobby horse and make a few Bob as well because of Coutts . Farage and Miller have a common enemy too. It must be painful and frustrating for his enemies . |

Your link is to a book that says that there was a lot of banker investment in Russia in the late 19th and early 20th Century, which the communist party then refused to pay when it came into power 17 years later. I am completely confused as to how any of that makes the Bolsheviks bankers or the banks Bolsheviks. |
