So what damage is Farage going to do to the Coutts brand, considering they have some of the most unsavoury customers there is. The only difference Farage has let it be known he was a Coutts customer, I bet our jaws would drop if we knew who else had accounts with them.
Well, if they have some of the most unsavoury customers there is (as you say), that pretty much proves they don't give a shit about their customers' politics, doesn't it? Checkmate.

Once again - we don't have free market banking in the UK. No. But part of the Brexit plan was to create a Singapore-on-Thames. The plan was to free the UK from bureaucracy. At least, it was the plan. Turns out, the whole thing was about making life more convenient for the manfrog. I don't recall Farage ever suggesting that we have free market banking - and further, even if he did (which he didn't), we don't

I don't recall Farage ever suggesting that we have free market banking - and further, even if he did (which he didn't), we don't Farage never complained about Brussel's bureaucracy? That's news to me. There isn't free market banking in the UK. There is a compromise between the capitalist right to make a profit and the right to hold any political view. The law forbids banks to terminate for their customers' political views unless those political views could have reputational consequences for the bank.

Does the Farage know he was in a game of chess with our answer to the Russian master? By Russian master, do you mean Putin enabler?

Really? The banks have been shutting 1000 accounts a day? Why didn't the manfrog speak up before it happened to him? He must have known, being a man of the people and all.

LOL information is the answer to all wisdom grasshopper. But he's a man of the people and a mind reader (according to you). He has to have known. So, why didn't he care until it happened to him?

Probably the same reason most people don't give a flying one until it affects them and their daily lives, which this isn't the first rodeo.

I'm not sure that some obscure backbench MEP in the European Parliament, which has no power anyway, is in a position to enable anything.. ..but good try though.. It’s a funny ol’ world, isn’t it, Doc? If UK law had a developed duty of good faith, contractual actors wouldn’t be able to terminate for any reason. It wasn’t so long ago that you were arguing that that UK law shouldn’t have a duty of good faith. Now, you appear to have changed your mind, and all because your chinless prophet is suffering the effects.
