I do not, and never have supported privatisation of water, and never will, regardless of what Labour Party policy is, or was in Scotland.
I may be a Labour supporter, but I am not a YES man to anything and everything that Labour proposes or suggests, I can think for myself. Though when taking everything into consideration, I instinctively know that the country would be far better off under a Labour government.
Promising to renationalise anything, whether it be our railways, utillities or Royal Mail will cost an awfull lot of money, and I believe there are other more deserving priorities.

They shouldn't fine them. It's just added back into the water bills. They should start jailing the executives. That's how to get some real action.
Thames Water is fined £3.3m after 'millions of litres' of undiluted sewage was pumped into rivers near Gatwick Airport for 21 HOURS, causing water to turn 'black' and killing more than 1,300 fish Thames Water was today handed a £3.3million fine after a 'reckless' incident which saw 'millions of litres' of raw sewage pumped into rivers near Gatwick for 21 hours, causing the water to turn black and killing more than 1,300 fish. A two-day sentencing hearing at Lewes Crown Court was told there was a 'significant and lengthy' period of polluting the Gatwick Stream and River Mole between Crawley in West Sussex and Horley in Surrey on October 11, 2017. Judge Christine Laing KC said today that said she believed Thames Water had shown a 'deliberate attempt' to mislead the Environment Agency over the incident, such as by omitting water readings and submitting a report to the regulator denying responsibility.

Thames Water had pleaded guilty on February 28 to four charges relating to illegally discharging waste in October 2017. This penalty comes as the utility giant, which serves 15 million households across London and Thames Valley, faces concerns over its future amid mounting debt. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12262469/Thames-Water-fined-3-3million-Gatwick-pollution.html

Ms Bentley, who was appointed in 2020, said in May that she would give up her bonus after the company's environmental and customer performance suffered. But even after giving up the bonus, the chief executive managed to double her pay, raking in £1.5 million.
It wouldn't even surprise me if she wasn't one of the loony lefty woke snowflake Just stop oil protesters, because their hypocrisy knows no bounds.
