They talk about having visions when getting elected. All the barking idiots manage to rap out is the green revolution, but so far we have seen one of the highest electricity prices in the world, a ban on fracking which was lied about and now a new green tax on our energy bills. On the positive side of the balance sheet we just see failure. Hinckley Point is forever delayed, the idiots sacked their business partner CGN, the ones who knew how to build it, the British Volt was a farce and a waste of money expelling hot air and paying report writers. Furthermore we have a ban on petrol cars coming up that will destroy our largest manufacturing industry which is set up to produce exactly what they want to ban. Zero new British electric cars have so far entered onto the market. Even the Germans are crashing and burning regarding their car industry.
So really what I want to know is why anyone votes for any of these people? Meanwhile over in China the government have these five year plans and their next move is to build a thorium nuclear programme. There is enough thorium under Northern China to power China's electricity grid for 20 0000 years. The first ten year licence has just been issued for a test reactor. So why can't we do this shit? It seems to me the ones touting for your votes are a load incompetent bastards keen on taxing the poor as much as possible. If you know of any other visions, please let us know.

Nothing new about thorium nuclear .....thorium nuclear generation its fueled primarily by the nuclear fission of the isotope uranium-233 produced from the fertile element thorium. A thorium fuel cycle can offer several potential advantages over a uranium fuel cycle including the much greater abundance. But no less dangerous and the bi-product still has a 10.000 year half life......The advantage of thorium fuel is its low weaponization potential; it is difficult to weaponize the uranium-233/232 and plutonium-238 isotopes that are largely consumed in thorium reactors. There are only a handfull of operational thorium reactors all in the west and they are only research platforms. So yet again the Chinese are just following the west and not visa versa.

Thorium-based nuclear power generation is fueled primarily by the nuclear fission of the isotope uranium-233 produced from the fertile element thorium. A thorium fuel cycle can offer several potential advantages over a uranium fuel cycle[Note 1]—including the much greater abundance of thorium found on Earth, superior physical and nuclear fuel properties, and reduced nuclear waste production. One advantage of thorium fuel is its low weaponization potential; it is difficult to weaponize the uranium-233/232 and plutonium-238 isotopes that are largely consumed in thorium reactors. Wiki. It is good form to quote your source when posting.😂 I nearly thought you were intelligent.

The Saudis have a plan though. Most people and countries have plans, but in our Westminster they have not grown up and become adult enough to have one. The Saudis are moving into rare earth mining. Once upon a time we used to mine for china clay in Cornwall and we would have tin mines. I don't know if it is the case all resources under the UK have been depleted but my guess is we probably have not looked. Besides if we ever found anything it would be banned by Rishi, the one who can't keep promises.

I thought you never liked my links wonky. Some of us during the lockdown further increased our education and gained more knowledge rather than get pissed every night like good little sheeple.

The other place where thorium exists in large amounts is India. India has a plan as well.
