It's amazing the Tories win anything in Scotland. There must have been some closet Tories in the past. Never heard a good word by anyone before and certainly not now.

No loss. The only decent thing Dougie Ross ever did was to skip a debate on some bollocks or other to referee a football match. Other than that all the Scottish Tories are remainers and thereby not worth a bucket of cold piddle.
The Labour party on the other hand seem to be holding their ground, which suggests that the Scots are returning to their traditional loyalties.

The lunatics in the Labour branch office are going the same way as D.Ross. As they prop up the Torys in several local authorities. The loonies are now the tartan Tories. Komrad

So you keep banging on about across this and other forums borkie , but the reality is 70 % of scots wont vote labour , and as i keep telling you , labour gains are merely unionist votes they take( or lose) from the tories.
This wishfull thinking of the jocks getting back in their boxes and voting british labour is fantasy. Half the population of scotland want independence, they are no more likely to vote british parties than you would a rejoiner party to take your beloved uk back into the EU.

An alba fanatic? I think borkie is getting me mixed up with morayloon. I have voted many parties , under scotlands pr system , from labour , liberals and green to alba ,snp. Unlike you lefty im not constrained by party political dogma and labour party tribal voting. My vote usually goes to the highest bidder.
you seem thoug once again to be retreating onto attacking the man and not the argument as you fail to come to terms with labours disasterous record in and out of government.
You arent going to get far in political debate by simply shouting we hate the tories.

The Tories in Scotland are about as popular as Vlad the Impaler in a Turkish harem Actually, when Vlad was a youngster he was a prisoner of the Turks for a while and may well have ended up in the harem of Sultan Murad II. Before the obvious comments of lucky sod, it should be noted that this sort of thing was quite common at both Muslim and Christian courts where it was generally accepted that the best folk to thump some manners into the rotten little oinks were the women folk. And since Vlad was a youngster surrounded by nubile tottie, it is reasonable to assume that he put himself out to be agreeable
