I understand that the conflict in Ukraine is a very emotive subject for some people. I do not want to silence the voices of either side and this become an echo-chamber, but I do ask that you try and take the approach of being respectful in your disagreement with one another. Far too many posts on the old forums were spitting accusations of extreme ideologies or illegal sexual behavior at one another and actors in the conflict and it is something that is both against the TOS here and also something I don't want to see. I'm not pointing fingers. Both sides were bad for it, but it's a fresh start here, so in the spirit of that, let's try our best and keep calmer. This applies equally to both sides and with that in mind: - Do not make posts promoting, endorsing, or condoning illegal activities such as war crimes or the torture of POW's. - Avoid Whataboutery- Attack the argument, not the person. - i.e. Do not toss slurs around that would earn you a slap (or worse), if you repeated them to a stranger in a pub. (Some very obvious examples include pedo, nazi, fascist). - i.e. Don't passively insinuate that someone who disagrees with you is any of the above.
