Boris seems to have been crucified - over a period of almost years - because of a piece of cake, but Starmer has got off scot free for his big beer and curry party that he held in Durham. Whereas Boris's indiscretion was a small impromptu gathering (with no booze) that happened when his wife gatecrashed a Cabinet meeting to give Boris a birthday cake, Starmer's bash was an organised beer and curry party for over 30 people which was nothing to do with work and involved a buffet curry - which is explicitly against the Covid rules. Yet the police took no action whatsoever against Starmer - apparently because the Durham police don't prosecute "historic crimes". In view of all the trouble his minor indiscretion has caused Boris I think it's time to get another police force to investigate Starmer - or maybe even a parliamentary team of Tories. After all justice has to be seen to be done - and it most certainly hasn't been done in this case. Could it be because the attack on Boris was organised by the Remainer blob, who obviously have no argument with Starmer. Tory “impromptu gatherings” with invitations like the Jingle and Mingle issued for the latest party out of the number that that have been uncovered? And if that’s not enough, you appear to believe that an intelligent being would travel to Durham for an evening beer and curry if it wasn’t a work requirement. All allegations have been and are being investigated. Some have resulted in fines. Others have been found not to have infringed any laws or restrictions. And the latest revelation appears to suggest the initial Police investigators were lied to. Looks serious, now videos with audio (and not still photos taken through a window from outside and office) have surfaced… You could of course drive up there to test your eyesight.

The simple fact is that the rules could not reasonably have been applied to Boris as he LIVED in Number 10. It may look like a terrace house but over 200 people work there so there is absolutely no chance of social distancing. And the fact is also that Boris was only convicted of one offence by the police - after months of investigation - and most rational people will say that this was wrong - if it had been contested in court he would have been found not guilty. In hindsight Boris should have challenged it, but he underestimated the "legs" that this patygate stuff had.
But Starmer has no such excuse. His party was obviously against the Covid rules but Durham police (unlike the Met) have a policy of not investigating historic crimes. So it should be reinvestigated by some other body. It's very important that this is done because the likes of Starmer and Rayner are being very vocal about Boris's hypocrisy. It needs to be shown clearly that they are ALSO hyprocrites. And if/when Starmer is found to have breached rules he should stand down as an MP and leader of Labour. In fact he SHOULD have done that already because he said he would stand down if he was investigated by the police. He made no mention of being charged.

If smarmer had of used his own recomendations he would have stood down as the ceo of the CPS. The guy is an utter disgrace and not fit to hold any high posistion. He watered down his own recomendations in the end by saying he would stand down only if he received a FPN. The multi faced lying sactomonius turd and those who support him are even worse.

You could of course drive up there to test your eyesight. What a pity they do not do Brain transplants up there Hash. Is it actually possible for you to make a post without calling people names? It's really juvenile. On the last forum I thought that you were a school child. You assured me you weren't and you were actually an adult, yet you don't behave like one. 🤷🏻

The fact is this is one of the greatest attacks on our democracy and smarmer and his bunch of c@nts should be fully investigated also. Glad I could help Hash.

It doesn't really matter, unless there is a decrease in inflation and interest rates the Tories are going to get wiped out.
The problem Labour will have once in power is that they have used the morality stick to beat the Tories with, and we all know that stick will eventually turn into a boomerang and smack Starmer in the face.
I'll give Starmer a year before he is gone, we all know Raynor wants the top job, and we can only imagine how much shit is in her closet.
