Change the word ‘ crucifixion’ to comfy chair , “ Crown of thorns to “ cloth cap and ‘ spear in the side ‘ to feather duster . Everything can be anything in the cult of magic words . The issue here is: can the meaning of a word change so that it includes a group of people that it formerly excluded? The word woman formerly excluded individuals with a penis. The ‘Left’ say that the meaning of the word woman can change, that a group that was excluded from a word's meaning can be included within that meaning. You denied that. You then contradicted yourself by saying that the Left can be gammons. Gammon is a word that previously only applied to the Right. When you started using the word to include the Left, you were doing exactly what the Left do when they include transgender women within the meaning of the word woman. In short, you unintentionally proved the Left’s argument. The fact that you don't understand that doesn't change anything. Thanks for seeing it from our point of view. |

Gender dysphoria is a diagnosis as a form of mental disorder. The term focuses on the discomfort of the disorder as the problem, not identity. Transgender women have a 'female mind'. If you take genitalia as the marker of sexuality, then those people can never be women. However, if you take the condition of a person's mind as the marker of their sexuality, then a person with a penis can be a woman. It all depends on what the primary marker is. A primary marker for insanity used to be sexual attraction, so that same-sex attracted people were defined as insane. Society changed that marker. In short, these things are social constructs. All that is required to make a transgender woman a woman, is for society to change the primary marker. When someone like Starmer says that a person with a penis can be a woman, he is 100% correct. If society changes the primary marker, then a person with a penis will become a woman. |

It's a horrible story of torture and execution. Should young children be taught it in school? i think most religious martyrdoms are pretty brutal regardless of sect / cult involved Are you suggesting we refrain from teaching any children anything of the violence of the past ? Or is your problem you consider it a false narrative of a non existent individual. |
