Indeed. Change doesn't happen consistently around the world. That's always been the case. There's no reason why this should be any different. Another one of your prophecies, eh? UK will return to the EU. Britain is on fast track to becoming a Marxist utopia. Men will be redefined women if they so choose on scientific grounds, and feminists and the rest of society will have to accept it. And now the teaching of the crucifixion will be removed from schools in the UK. Apart from your penchant to envisage a dystopian future Darling, you do tell 'em. Darling has been peddling the claim that men will be called women by a natural change in language and at the same time tells us that the change will be forced upon us . It’s the kind of dishonest passive aggression that defines the leftie agenda.

Yes, Ned believes in the resurrection. Any Christian who does not believe in the resurrection, frankly, is not what they say they are. The Romans wanted the resurrection stifled and made up a story to cover the truth. The enemies of Christianity are still trying to say there was no resurrection and would like the crucifixion covering up, too. The crucifixion was the moment that Christ bore the sins and shame of humanity, past present and future to pay the penalty of death, in our place. Easter does not generally dwell on the crucifixion in today's secular world. It prefers chocolate eggs! Hi Ned....why? I mean why do you think an auxilliary cohort of the 10th Legion give a flying fuck about some jewish guy they'd just crucified? For me the Roman's are merely facilitators for the narratives; the lad was crucified on the recommendation of Caiaphas and that's it as far as the Romans are concerned. The rest is up to whatever your imagination makes of the OT and NT constructions...? They feared a backlash if it was found that they had murdered the Son of God. It's one theory. Didn't the Romans always put themselves first?

And you don't question whether these books actually hinted at CRT? In Florida, a book can be banned even if the complaining party has never read the book. Mind you, if those maths books hadn't been banned for the reason they were, they'd likely have been banned for mentioning the word binary. That's how insane the religious right has become. That's why interstate migration to Florida is at such a high rate, business is booming and common sense prevails. Many Americans are running away from the nutters who have taken over the democratic asylum with their progressive views, high-crime rates and inner city slums. Business isn't booming quite as well as it would have been if DeSantis hadn't chosen to interfere. Disney has just pulled the plug on its $Billion Lake Nona campus project that would have brought 2,000 jobs to Orlando, and many transfers from California.

The rest is up to whatever your imagination makes of the OT and NT constructions...? They feared a backlash if it was found that they had murdered the Son of God. It's one theory. Didn't the Romans always put themselves first? For me the issue was Caiaphas and his influence over the Sanhedrin and elders. He was the provincial representative to Pilate and was responsible for provincial matters so some radical with a following turning up in Jerusalem at the same time as Pilate and his imperial entourage would have been an annoyance. What gets me is that Ciaphas, Annas and the Sanhedrin could have dealt with the issue themselves but for the fact that they wanted Jesus executed - that prerogative though was firmly and solely under the authority of the Governor. What representations Ciaphas made we'll never know but crucifiction was usually only handed out as a punishment when the Romans were dealing with disorder. This is where I reckon the "overturning" of the moneylenders tables is probably an historic fact - as it lends credence through this crime (disorder) to the punishment. As Pilate has delegated Roman authority to Caiphas I can't for the life of me see why Pilate would give a crap seeing that Ciaphas is doing his job....there is no reason for Pilate be concerned; this radical is dead through the most humiliating of punishments and that's the end of it for him. I can't imagine Pilate even being aware of or even seeing Jesus, it would be a non-event for him as a Knight of Rome and Provincial Governor - it would be so far below him.

i think most religious martyrdoms are pretty brutal regardless of sect / cult involved Are you suggesting we refrain from teaching any children anything of the violence of the past ? Or is your problem you consider it a false narrative of a non existent individual. Removing images of a man being tortured to death would be a good start. that hardly answers my question.

I don’t think it’s child abuse. I think the idea that it is, is complete nonsense. And in your world, apparently I was victim to child abuse? Uh, no. If teaching children about transgenderism, a condition recognised by modern science, is child abuse, then exposing children to images of torture must be too. Either that, or neither is. If that's the case, why are the constant claims that the Left are facilitating child abuse tolerated? I disagree. The world has done very well for thousands of years without teaching children about genital mutilation being an acceptable practice.

It's a horrible story of torture and execution. Should young children be taught it in school? Well, most kids like like stories of torture and execution, so why not give them a bit of a treat ?
But they should stick to the biblical version, which was a lot more fun than the reality

Darling needs to lighten up. Perhaps a good movie might take him out of himself.

It hasn't gone very well for transgender women, if you take the rate of suicide among that group into account. And I don't support 'genital mutilation' per se. I support the opinion of qualified people. The second the medical professionals say it's not the way to go, I will be opposed to their having the operation.
