'If' he is charged Handyman, ' if'? I know the courts have gone all left wing and soft, but if this guy doesn't go down for a long, long time, we should riot like the yanks did when model citizen George Floyd died. The CPS will charge him IMO it will be up to the Court if the trial goes ahead or not, again IMHO with three dead and others injured plus the fear he has instilled in the local people and students he will stand trial, as for the sentence yes who knows I agree some Judges are far too soft The Police have been granted a Court order to hold him in custody for a further 36 hours Indeed, he is not cooperating which is why the police asked to question him for longer. Tbh if he is giving the 'no comment' option (and I'm not saying he is btw) I cant see what questioning him for longer will achieve. I suppose the police know what they're doing.

I would suspect that if he is seriously mentally ill he will have been given some medication by a qualified Doctor, there are very strict rules that have to be followed, they have to have rest and sleep breaks from interviews , plus provide food and refreshments, plus he will probably have to have an independent person to look after his welfare and a brief of course when interviewed, plus of course the Officers conducting the interview need a break. Plus the Officers have to be updated on any other information evidence from witnesses and even victims which they can put to him, as its such a serious case they can't rush it hence they applied for the extra time , once charged he goes to Court so they need to ask him questions now before he goes into the Prison System later it makes it more awkward. Yes he can stay silent no matter what its his right to remain silent but they can still ask him questions ], when he gets to Court he does not even have to enter a plea, the Court will treat that as a Not Guilty plea and the trial will go ahead

He is 31 year old Valdo Amissao Mendes Calocane and has a degree in mechanical engineering from Nottingham University. Who cares? I don't, and I'm pretty sure the families of the people he murdered don't either. He should swing, not in ten years or two years but next week. This is a classic case of the perfect example of someone who should be executed. He murdered three people, there is no question of his guilt he should by law be executed. Of course outraged lefties will say, oh wait he's got mental health issues, which means these deluded fuckin lefties think he needs sympathy. He is a multiple murderer with a history of violence who has proved beyond any doubt he is unable to live by the rules required in a civilised society. He should be executed. I cant see what the problem is, and I'll tell you something else this fucked up multiculturalism experiment will bring, more and more people like me people who are sick of this country being overrun with foreign criminals. I mean, whoever thought such a piffling issue would get people annoyed?..

This tragic incident appears to be proving something of a disappointment to those who hoped to make political capital out of the deaths of three innocent people. When news broke you could feel the palpable excitement growing amongst the GB Newswatchers. Would this be the jackpot? An islamic fundamentalist asylum seeker fresh off a boat rampage. Kerching. The excitement only grew when GB news used clever words to further the impression that the perpetrator was an asylum seeker with a history of violence back home. Of course that was just another misrepresentation, an other false story - what would be known as a lie to all apart from advocates of Boris Johnson. You would think watchers of this channel would get bored of constantly being lied to and the truth being misrepresented, but they seem to lap it up and come back for me. It seems being told what they want to hear is more important than what is the actual truth. Most odd.
So the truth now is emerging. The perpetrator appears to have been a young man bought up in rural Wales, a regular church goer, intelligent, hard working and capable of getting a degree from a decent university. So what on earth went wrong? It feels most likely that he suffered severe mental health issues. It remains to be seen how much he reached out for help - his trip to bang on the doors on MI5 should surely have been a signal - but we know that mental health support in this country is appalling.
As for the GB Newswatcher in chief, well he still tries to make political capital out of the colour of this guys skin but you can tell even his hearts not in it. Of course the colour of the guys skin is irrelevant, as perhaps would have been his motivations even if he had have been a terrorist. Three seemingly innocent young people are dead, three families have to cope with their loss. All so sad. If this does turn out to be largely driven by mental health, no doubt all the right noises will be made, we will declare that lessons will be learnt but I dare say nothing much will change on the ground, people in need of urgent support will still find that that help doesn't exist and the world will keep turning. Until the next time.

It's the "largely driven by mental health", bit. What was the other driving force? Where was he radicalised?

Most people who become radicalised, most of whom have mental health issues or are vulnerable in some way, do so by shutting themselves in an echo chamber, often at home, listening to people , usually cleverer than them, feed them lies and distortions over and over again, creating a reality in the radicalised's mind that doesn't actually exist in the real world. We have seen what watching GB News can do to people who post on this forum for example.
It doesnt appear to be the case that this guy has been radicalised or that this was a terrorist act, but if that understanding changes, I dare say something along this lines will have happened.

You obviously haven't watched any of it. But as an enlightened soul I knew from the start that the Labour lot are here to tell us that we need more censorship of all opinions that they disagree with, or else more terrorism and more murder will come our way.
