The motor was making a hell of a racket and I thought oh God, the exhaust is buggered which means a serious blow to the wallet.
But it turns out that someone has pinched the catalytic converter, so it is the insurance company's worry. Admittedly I am now stuck in Hemel Hempstead which is, by general agreement, the arse end of the empire, but one way and another, more pluses than minuses

One of the neighbours saw a couple of lads with a trolley jack and was thinking about reporting the matter to the council because they have a down on road side garages. Overall I think I prefer the local villains to some of my neighbours. But as you say, catalytic converters for my motor only cost 80 quid, so the thieves weren't overly ambitious.
Anyway, no harm done  |

Hope you're ok borchester who on earth would still your catalytic converter It is happening all over the country has been for quite some time, they cut the converter off in seconds as they contain precious metals can't remember what they are but that's what they are after, you can buy some sort of guard to protect them better makes it more difficult to cut off |
