I mean according to the BBC the UK is in second place in the race to develop quantum computers and other quantum tech. This is thanks to government funding, twice what the US funds on it and 1/5th of what China does. UK says it wants to be number one. Lets hope so. I guess all those lessons I've been posting on quantum mechanics have got through the skulls of the Brits - lol!

Politicians know nothing of science, but they have a sense of smell to know if some techy is serious or not. You have to change the tune yourself cos no one else will do it otherwise. All our shit economic forecasts are down to not taking science seriously. It is science that creates economic growth. You have to show them truthfully which science is the right science to back. This is it.

I don't have any vested interests in a particular science so I can speak freely. Indeed you get loads of hangers on when they can smell politicians giving out money for science. The usual one is tell em it is green.

I’d like to know how they make those tiny little spanners. It's all maths. I can't show you on here because forums like this don't do all the squiggly symbols. You need a blackboard.

Yes indeed. It's a weird one. Some maths can end up as a whole book of equations, but other times it is beautifully simple.
