A sensible thread where you claimed that Cameron made a verbal contract with the people? Define sensible!!! I'm having the last word ... nah nah nah ... LOL Nope. Pacifico is having the last word. I think you'll find a sizable chunk of this 'discussion' is about to disappear.

A sensible thread ruined by a utter plonker, who just makes things up as he goes along, and doesn't have the brains to know what the law is, well he might have experience with the law, but I suspect it would be on the criminal side of it. A sensible thread where you claimed that Cameron made a verbal contract with the people? Define sensible!!! And did we uphold it for him?

Shame he didn't remind one of you to take the Government to court, then. You claim that you had a legally enforceable right to have the referendum enforced. You didn't sue the Government, though. I'm being charitable when I say the reason must have been because you forgot (though, we both know it was because you couldn't because the referendum wasn't binding, and therefore it wasn't legally enforceable).

I suspect the mods will have realised individuals who want threads closing down by trolling them, it's a typical lefty trait, 'cancel' anything they don't agree with, this thread rattles the remainers, it really does bring out the worst in them.

I've explained the law to you. You're not capable of understanding it. That's not trolling, that's just the harsh reality that Daily Mail readers aren't very bright.

Did you forget to take the government to court to enforce that contract too, Sal? Did it just slip your mind? Or was the reason you didn't attempt to argue in court that there was a written contract because you couldn't find a barrister who was prepared to ruin his career by making such a childish claim in court? Which was it?

Which was it? Ask Gina Miller you plonker, she took the government to court to cancel Brexit, and guess what .........she LOST.
Her legal argument ... it was just a 'advisory referendum', and guess what the court kicked her out and said ........ NO it wasn't.

It certainly has been trolled to death. If all the threads are treated like this, the forum will die. I, for one, don't want that to happen.

It's like flogging a dead horse Tor, or nag ...lol I don't remember Sal or any of his mates going to court to argue that there was a written contract between the government and the people. The gammon were furious about the fact that Parliament was delaying. So, why didn't they do it? Again, I'm being charitable when I say it must have just slipped their mind. In reality, one or two of them probably thought it was a runner, and even approached a barrister. Of course, they would never have found one who was willing to make that argument in court. That's why it never went to court.
