Do you think people thought Saddam was an evil torturing dictator when they backed him in his military take over? No, they thought he was a maverick who would sort out their country in the way they wanted and shut down those dreadful woke protesters and the limp wristed press. Full marks for blatant hyperbole . Did you find anyone with any credibility that insisted that the judges be hung for treason ? When did Boris try a military take over and was the UK political scene comparable in 2016 to Iraq in the late 20th century? i wasn't being literal. Never mind you don't seem to get my point. I'm not a huge fan of Boris and I feel he significantly betrayed the people who voted for him to maintain his own political comfort.
