If Mrs R, who is a woman, is any judge, it does make a difference, a big difference. And this is what woke politicians seem to be overlooking. The inability/refusal to say what a woman is, is a slap in the face to all women. Might be a slap in the face to Mrs R, but my wife Derrick is fine with it. I'm doing my best to look shocked.

That clip Orac was interesting and prof Dutton is absolutely bang on the money. The the calibre of MP's today is in many cases pretty embarrassing, especially although I concede not exclusively, when looking at those who sit on the opposition benches.
I was going to say Labour supporters in particular should watch it, but would they understand it? Tricky one.

Get a grip you muppet. At least he knows what a woman is lol. By far the most important asset in a Prime Minister. For sure. Boris has finally turned completely orange as Trump two. Kangeroo court, 😂 yep, don't answer the accusation, say the court is corrupt. There are a lot of parallels between Trump and Johnson, both ex-leaders of their countries, persecuted by the authorities is a common theme. Of course, it is not possible that there are dirty politics at work with two of the most influential men in the world

Bit like Boris, it's embarrassingly obvious there's a campaign to get rid of pro Brexit Tories.

Both have broken the law in ways obvious to the public, both have loyal followers who pretend it didn't happen and refuse to discuss it. How on earth anyone could think Boris or Trump are being persecuted when we have all seen the evidence of their law breaking and the lack of contrition. Still, as you say similar to Trump. One thing I am supremely pleased about is that neither Trump nor Boris was able to break the law with impunity just because they were popular. That is the way most dictators come to power. I'm very angry because I was suckered by Boris, I liked him, voted for him and believed he genuinely had found a way forward with Brexit.

At the risk of going off topic it is Starmer and Biden who have got away with offences.

We all knew Johnson was a bounder and a cad. We all knew that he was a maverick who would cut corners and we all knew that we preferred a leader like that than a leader like Theresa May. ‘We’ being Johnson supporters .

Or are you saying the UK police are corrupt as well as all the civil servants, the judges, the lawyers the CPS etc.

We all knew that he was a maverick who would cut corners and we all knew that we preferred a leader like that than a leader like Theresa May. ‘We’ being Johnson supporters . I agree. But its a very dangerous path as we have seen. That he tried to prorogue parliament to shop it blocking his brexit deal is much more of a crime than you think. That his supporters called for the judges who stopped him from breaking the law to be hung for treason. That was on step from ending democracy and its how all dictators start. We take over the courts because they are corrupt, we silence the press because they are corrupt, we arrest the protesters because they are corrupt.. Its a very familiar cycle.

Desperate times is how Saddam Hussein, Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, got into power. All on the back of the people who wanted change and were prepared to back someone who didn't consider democracy important. I think the phrase is be careful what you wish for.

Dont over egg it , there’s a good chap. We wanted a maverick and we got one . Johnson never was going to be Adolf Hitler , Genghis Khan, Attila the Hun or Ming the merciless . He was always going to be Boris.

No, they thought he was a maverick who would sort out their country in the way they wanted and shut down those dreadful woke protesters and the limp wristed press.

Did you find anyone with any credibility that insisted that the judges be hung for treason ? When did Boris try a military take over and was the UK political scene comparable in 2016 to Iraq in the late 20th century?
