Oh well i guess he doesn't need the goodbye money he’d get if he waited another year. He could and probably will make a fortune from his memoires. But I tend to think we havent seen the last of Boris. Could be wrong. i believe he will make a comeback. Not sure when or how. I suspect the next election will see Sunak thrown into the Thames from the terrace after handing the Tory party a defeat of truly epic proportions on a par with the 156 seat result they got in was it 1906 ? I see absolutely no way they can turn round the member hatred for the greasy little dago with the inheritance tax avoiding wife. My daughter’s new mother in law is a staunch tory as is her son and most of his brothers but they are still pretty pissed the scummy sod engineered a coup after the members gave the clearest indication of not wanting him since Ted Heath asked the voters ‘who governs britain’ and the people shouted back ‘not you, pal’

Sunak was never the popular choice he was always the committees choice, which shows how far to the centre the Tories have gone. Sunak is like Trump, they're not politicians they're millionaire businessman. I know we cant reinvent the wheel, but it would be nice if we had politicians running the country.

They have both resigned to hurt Sunak, but in reality nobody cares.
Personally I think they have done Sunak a favour. The more nutters that leave the Tories, the more it looks like they are back to be boring but stable.

You may salivate over Boris, but do you really want the likes of Dorries, Patel, Paterson in authority — and it is people like this that who’d keep Johnson in contention, even though he’d dump them in a flash if it kept his bus on the road… The Tory party can live with them.
What it can't live with is you and your fellow EU lovers who support the Conservatives the way a rope supports a hanged man.
This will be messy, but hopefully a real Tory party will emerge and shake off the Lib Dems influence that appears to have taken over in recent years.

The first encouraging step in acknowledging the corrosive Tory assumption that they are exclusive and above the law, even ones they themselves make. One by one the Brexit bulllshitters are being exposed for what they always were...chancers who thought that leaving the EU meant they had exclusive control over the country and could rule unencumbered like the kings of old their nannies used to tell them about.
I sincerely hope this helps the majority of people who used to have common sense and moderation, to stop thinking variety shows qualify fools to run a country. That the old steady honest politicians who SERVE instead of play games return. Because they have a lot of ground to mske up.

Sunak is like Trump, they're not politicians they're millionaire businessman. I know we cant reinvent the wheel, but it would be nice if we had politicians running the country. i think the problem is he is a likeable incompetent who plays his hand as a likeable buffoon. Ive had direct exposure to the man while involved in developing and rolling the TfL email system that tells you where tube bus and road issues will screw your journey over I told him to his face the lie on his red bus made him REMAIN’s greatest asset and his mumbled reply that what’s there is there now snd we must make the best if it revealed he knew exactly what the issue was. For me, he lost the right to sit in number ten the day he defended that arrogant twat Cummings. You will remember other aides and politicians notably one of Sturgeon’s aides walked the plank for a similar lockdown misdemeanour saying her continued presence was a distraction. Cummings called a press conference to broadcast the bare faced lie that he had done nothing wrong and would not be resigning. Boris called one barely an hour later. He SHOULD have said his spad was “departing with immediate effect having realised he had made a grave error” and had the shitbag dragged through the streets in chains. What he did was the most stomach churning act of defending the twat. An action unbecoming a British Prime Minister. It was truly vomit inducing to watch. That was the day i knew Boris would be going. That was the day i put a tenner on him not being Prime Minister much longer at Paddy Power and the only reason i did not collect is the berk with the hair clung on like a piece of shit stuck to an arse hair for longer than i expected. British politics is full of liars and fraudsters who make comebacks after taking a fall to placate the enraged. The finest example being the Prince of Darkness Mandelson who committed financial fraud and took down a moderately competent Paymaster General giving the abysmal Dawn Primarolo the job, and with it the opportunity to admit Labour Tax Policy did not apply to those earning a million a week because they could afford the lawyers to tell the tax man to go fuck himself.

The problem there being you mention serve, which whilst correct you assume is a return to a Brussels and that the majority who could be bothered to vote and did so decided against something which people like you have never been able to get over along with your innate but flawed belief that those very people are stupid.

At least Johnson did something during Covid, unlike Starmer who just sat on the sidelines carping away, scoring political points out of a national health crisis, good old caring passionate Starmer, imagine making people's deaths a political football, he's nothing but a scumbag.
Boris is 100% correct the kangaroo court got him in the end, but I've got this strange feeling it's all going to blow up for Labour, wait till the shit hits the fan, the next one who's in the firing line is that weirdo Harriet Harman, plenty of skeletons in her cupboard.

That's right, Labour have stated that they will employ dirty tricks, they are doing so and I hope it all massively backfires, to have these committees holding the anti Boris enquiries made up of closet lefties like Sue Grey and Harmen is obviously a stitch up and can be seen by the electorate as being so. Sunak is rather creepy and I don't trust him an inch, to think that we have another year or so of all this, followed by a possible Labour Government, as JoG said, I'm glad that I will not be around to see the consequences of our political establishment mess.

He was the best PM we've had. He got us out of the EU (as he said he would do), he handled Covid pretty well considering that he was handicapped by SAGE making bad decisions and he raised our profile internationally. Most people like him. It's a travesty that we've ended up with that grinning little monkey in charge. I hate him. He's going to destroy this country.

Sadly the alternative is Thornbury, Lammy, Abbott, Raynor and Butler in authority. The lefties did tell us that they were going to play dirty, and they are picking off the Tories like flies, Raab, Johnson, Patel all have been shafted by both the Tories and the lefties, what a mess. I think that the only thing to do is vote for Reform. Johnson's demise has nothing to do with Labour.

The lies. The corruption. The carelessness. The honours list. The parties. The treachery. The defence of corrupt party members. The cronyism. The racism. The bribery. Good riddance.

Yes, he shook hands with the infected. Starmer was not in power and could therefore do nothing but he did support the Tories when it came to votes. The 'Kangaroo' court had a Tory majority. He got caught lying to parliament, it's that simple.

So did Starmer. Starmer said he'd honour the referendum and that there wouldn't be a second.
At least Boris got us out thank goodness.
