If anyone needing to get to hospital for life saving treatment can't as a result of a "protest" road blockage and dies:
Charge the eco protesters with murder by terrorism and give them whole life sentences in orange cells.

If anyone needing to get to hospital for life saving treatment can't as a result of a "protest" road blockage and dies: Charge the eco protesters with murder by terrorism and give them whole life sentences in orange cells. You can charge them with murder if you like. CPS will reduce the charge to manslaughter as the elements of murder do not exist. Then the courts will find them not guilty, or maybe guilty with a £10 fine. So good luck with it! |

Well, change the law so the bastards can be given whole life sentences.
Already people needing hospital have ended up with life changing injuries as a result of these giant left wing publicity stunts.

Tbh Vinny it would be manslaughter but I wouldn’t object to them being prosecuted. Many years ago I worked in Germany and a local German told me if you hindered a emergency vehicle and someone died you’d be prosecuted,I’m no expert on German law because I really didn’t want to get involved in anything I saw the polizei in action and they didn’t mess about saw some trouble near a bar cops arrived batons used miscreants literally thrown in back of van and it was all over in short order. |

They can be prosecuted, but I doubt a murder or manslaughter charge (from some consequence of their behavior) would get anywhere (it would be dismissed). The police have implicitly told the public they are allowed to block the roads and they did so by standing and guarding those blocking the roads. It's totally absurd, but that to me seems like the situation.
Here is a thought experiment -
Imagine this group were (say) skinheads, walking slowly along main roads and demanding some major change in government policy
It would be stopped in one weekend with all members of the group imprisoned on terrorism (or related) charges. This has now been an issue since 2019
