It is immigration bail not criminal bail as you and the Telegraph would want us to believe.
The picture shows asylum seekers but the way it is portrayed is to show a boat load of 'criminals'.

Albanians are the largest nationality in prisons accounting for 1,393 foreign national offenders, as of March 31, compared to 830 Poles, 823 Romanians, 391 Jamaicans and 380 Lithuanians.
That means Albanians are one in six, 16 per cent, of all inmates despite representing fewer than 0.05 per cent of the UK population.

Quite a lot of Albanians who were being held in Detention for entering the England unlawfully later given Bail and electronically tagged have cut their tags off and disappeared , some have been found and arrested running drug factories across the UK, some who broke out of Detention have been arrested probably now back in custody |

I know I am wasting my time as you will run round in circles with your imagination and change tack and deflect , but the title of this thread clearly states Albanians, Albanians are not fleeing a war or famine or persecution, they are probably fleeing Prosecution if they had not greased the right palms. Very few if any Albanians are genuine Asylum Seekers , they are Organised Ruthless Professional Criminals well established right across Europe and many other countries , they are also heavily in people smuggling , drugs and not just here in the UK bur across Europe and world. If you cannot understand the title of the thread , you will really struggle to understand our Immigration Act, our Criminal Law and the due process of Law. I am not going to reply to you again , |

Why should we tolerate any foreign criminals, that's why the throw all their documents overboard on their way to the UK, the fact that even one of them is a criminal is scandalous, why should the UK be taking in foreign criminals who are evading justice in their own country? This government should start by refusing to accept any asylum seeker or illegal migrants or refugees or whatever they want to call themselves from British citizenship if they arrive with no form of Identification, I mean it's not really rocket science, they are afraid of doing the obvious.... why? |

Four years ago Albanians were the 16th largest group of foreign prisoners in UK prisons. Today they are number 1. Albanians are now the largest group of foreign criminals in UK prisons, and 12,000 of them have broken bail conditions ripped tags off and simply disappeared into the criminal underworld. The police say Albanians now run all major crime in UK cities and the Albanian crime wave is UK wide.

Judging by some of the asinine and ludicrous comments made by some on here no doubt the reason that these Albanians were put in prison and tagged was solely due to a racist policy advocated by Boris Johnson.
