I hate to be cynical, but i'm beginning to suspect that might be partly the idea. It's a ludicrous situation - 20 people holding up hundreds / thousands. Why are the police management allowed to get away with this? Why indeed, and why is the government not telling the police to do their bloody jobs?

A wealthy man who bankrolls criminals, well that's setting a fine example in our politics, Labour the party of criminals. They are protestors, protests cause disruption, always have but people like you are, it appears, quite happy for a 'rogue' government to take away your right to protest. Russia on the other hand are a 'criminal' state and they bankroll the Tories. I think your priorities are a bit wonky. The inbred thick just stop oil brigade haven't even a clue on what they are protesting about. Maybe you could go and enlighten them wonky... Oh wait a mitute LOL...

Yes he did. www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/25353/keir_starmer/holborn_and_st_pancras/divisions?policy=6764Look at his record. He was one of those who voted in contravention of the referendum in 2019, to keep us in. "but only if we have a deal" wasn't on the ballot paper, it was remain or leave. He opposed the honouring of a democratic vote then tried to subvert democracy further with a deal / remain referendum. A deal / no deal referendum would have been democratic. Remain was already off the table and all he did was sink Labour. No he didn't, he wanted a second referendum to put a deal to the public. You say a deal no deal would have been 'democratic' but I would argue with that point. If the public had not liked the deal on offer the only option would be no deal and that, as we have seen, would be catastrophic. No specific deal had been proposed just a lot of backwards and forwards arguments. If Parliament did not know what they wanted how were we supposed to know? Do you hear yourself? You confirmed everything I said whilst pretending not to. Starmer wanted a "deal or remain" referendum, and the deal he wanted was total servitude. A customs union, regulatory alignment and a situation so close to that of membership that there was no point in being out. He did not want a democratic alternative in which we make our own laws. He did not want a situation in which we negotiate our own FTAs and set our own tariffs. An advantage of having our own tariffs is being able to zero rate things we don't make or grow. He did not want a situation in which we set our own standards. The man is not democratic, he screwed over the Red Wall and the Red Wall told Labour to fuck off. And that man, the architect of Labour's hefty defeat in 2019, had the hubris to seek the leadership of his party. He should not be their leader. He brought them to their knees.

Nope, those bastards have blocked roads and prevented people with life threatening conditions from getting to hospital. I have had to drive to hospital with my father who was having a heart attack. If those bastards had blocked the road where I was, he could have died. It's very simple. They are eco terrorists. Get them off the roads. You are blaming the protesters when you should be blaming the police and those who's orders they are carrying out by not arresting the protestors and removing them from the roads. It is simple a case of 'stoking' the culture wars to keep the publics attention elsewhere. it is not the police who are blocking the roads. They are at fault for not enforcing the law, but if the lawbreaking ecofresks were not breaking the law in the first place the police would have nothing to enforce.

RedRum's argument is shredded, it lies in tatters on the cutting room floor with RedRum kneeling over quietly weeping as he attempts to salvage a shed of credibility, which is sadly, unlikely.

It would seem RedRum is taking a bit of a hiding this afternoon. Nothing less than he deserves.
