If the protesters were only at the stage of 'threatening' to block the road and deprive this man from getting to his work and to make an honest living, maybe he would have been more inclined to indulge in a chat with them. By the time we see what was happening the Eco mob had carried out their threat and had taken action both against that gentlemen and all the other innocent people who were suddenly stranded in their vehicles ..... they were being held hostage by the Eco mob. The Police had no inclination to set the hostages free ..... so it was either a case of sorting the situation out for yourself or remain at the mercy of the Eco mob.
A bit of rare British backbone came to the fore .... and the obstruction was cleared, with no other intent than allowing innocent working people to go about their day, unhindered by Leftist extremists who seemed to be being aided and abetted by a politically correct police force.

You keep saying that and no one knows why the police are not upholding the law in this instance. What we do know is many people are pissed off with the whole thing and it is almost as if the government are trying to bring the economy to its knees.
