I believe that the public taking things into their own hands and removing the anti social individuals from the road is by far the best option when the police refuse to do it. Correct, self-policing, we'll see a lot more of it. Which is unfortunate, but since the police are the problem for law abiding people, who are going about their business and contributing to the economy, there is no one else. How far will the state go to stop the people from reacting this way? I know the British folk aren't as easily excitable as they are in some other countries, but what happens if 50 people get out of their cars and move in? |

Police now arresting victims of crime. Broken Britain. He assaulted a member of the public. Good old dead nag. He will always support the criminals.....What a pity that upright member of our society didn't run the arseholes over with his van. |

He was the victim of law breakers, they were committing a crime and he was defending himself.
It is illegal to obstruct the road. If somebody unlawfully assumes ownership of areas of a road, they are breaking the law. If a person, without lawful authority or excuse, in any way wilfully obstructs the free passage along a road, they are also guilty of an offence.
We only witnessed the police arresting the victim of a criminal offense.
That is no excuse for an assault. There was a long queue at Tesco today but no one assault those in the front. Pillock! |

Ifa group was deliberately blocking the doorway and you moved them out of the way then it would be justified . Don’t get me wrong , I’m sure that you would curl up in a ball and cry but others might want to resolve the situation. There you go it did not take long for the 'idea' of a bit of 'assault' to migrate to other areas. What's next, mothers with prams? |
