The NHS is NOT underfunded, the NHS is getting screwed over by a Labour run fraud and incompetence just as this article confirms, it's a Labour plot to run the NHS in to the ground so they can blame '13 years of the Tories' .... and idiots like you fall for it. Wow!🤣 Get the tinfoil hats out. Indeed. Has he not noticed that it has been his beloved Tories running it for the past 13 years? *snigger* Shall you tell him or shall I?

Labour ran the NHS in England for 13 years from 1997 to 2010, it was the last time that Labour were overlords of the NHS in England.
During that time the NHS improved immensely, hundreds of hospitals or departments were refurbished and modernised, thousands of extra doctors and nurses were employed. Waiting lists dropped dramatically, waiting times also fell dramatically.
The NHS in England began to deteriorate in 2011, one year after the Tories took over, and eight years before anyone had ever heard of Covid19.
The NHS in England continued to deteriorate, waiting lists rose, waiting times rose, ambulance response times rose, and the time waiting to see a GP rose.

Shall I tell you something, we might have a Tory government but in case you haven't noticed we have Labour run councils, the NHS are public servants, and most of them are still there from Labours time in office, and like the civil service most of the loony lefties are still there from the Labour era. Is it any wonder it's fucked up, a Tory government being run by the loony left, they want to sabotage public services, including the NHS so they can blame the Tories, but of course you couldn't put 2+2 together even if you had a calculator.

...I happen to believe that even idiots should have the right to vote... Of course, Labour would be fucked otherwise.

The political landscape in this and other countries has been blighted by mainstream politicians since WW2 and before; time for reform.

Councils dont run the NHS. The government does. And for the last 13 years that means the Tories.

But they are used to just accepting headlines they like at face value. Please don't expect the old duffers to actually start reading anything more substantial. Some of them think that anything much longer than a headline is "waffle", lol. If anyone ever advocated disenfranchising pensioners on the grounds that too many of them are immature idiots, this forum itself would act as good evidence in support of that, lol. I would never advocate any such thing though because I happen to believe that even idiots should have the right to vote, because that is the price of democracy. Sadly. Well you vote. For even bigger idiots. That the country is increasingly obviously fucked is likely to be down to the useless twats running it, which are the Tories for these last 13 years. And of course they rely on idiots like you to keep on voting for them in spite of all that. You vote for the people in charge. And when everything goes tits up because they are useless you blame everyone but the idiots you voted for who are actually running everything. The Tories instead of the country would be fucked but for the votes of idiots like you. I really do wonder how bad things actually have to get in this once great land before even clowns like you stop and think about what you are actually voting for.

That I am no fan of New Labour is well known around here. I am not going to be voting Labour in the next election and did not vote Labour in 2005 or 2010. But I cannot but challenge such an ignorant lie. True, many things that should have gotten better didn't, and I am particularly thinking of housing when I say that. But that is mostly due to them choosing to continue with Tory housing policies. And bad things were done, most obviously the Iraq War. But quite a lot of things self evidently did get better. Greatly reduced NHS waiting lists, reduced class sizes, the introduction of a minimum wage, the working time directive, peace in Northern Ireland, Bank of England independence, the prevention of genocide in Kosovo, Sure Start centres, and ten years of economic growth unmatched in any of the past 13. Devolution for Scotland and Wales, the minimum income guarantee, free local bus travel and winter fuel payments for pensioners. Working tax credits for many low paid working people. A big expansion of higher education. Quite a lot of things did get better after 1997.
