Always comparing us to the worst case is not very encouraging. We were supposed to be freed from the shackles of the EU and able to soar away. Turns out that just like the remainers said, we have to share the same planet and all the things that effect the EU still effect us, we just face those things on our own now. Turns out we're no better at it than they are. It turns out that the globalists are still as controlling as they ever were. Did you think they would leave us alone. The most upsetting thing is the unicorns never came to protect us.

The world has been ruled by gangs for a very long time. At least in the EU I was in a gang that shared many of my values. Farage wanted us to align with the BRIC gangs, a much more dog eat dog gang. We tried to join the U.S gang, but they already have a deal with the EU gang.

LOL well a gang that throws you a few crumbs, what could possibly go wrong. While trying to keep up the pretence they are somehow democratic. Which has failed miserably.

Oh I dont know - how much better than Germany were you expecting us to be? Always comparing us to the worst case is not very encouraging. Turns out we're no better at it than they are. So what were we paying £10 Billion a year for if it didnt improve our performance? - if we trundle on at the same level irrespective whether we are in the EU or not I can think of better things to spend the money on

Always jam tomorrow, never today 6 years and counting. Oh I dont know - how much better than Germany were you expecting us to be? Selecting Germany on its own is not a safe comparison and suggests bias and convenience. The results will always be skewed by the fact that Germany's economy is different from the UK's. If there has to be a comparison, then it can't be with one single EU country but should be between the UK economy and the aggregate of comparable EU economies to even-out the differences. In this case, the average growth rate of the EU countries is 6.7% which is higher than the UK's 5.9%.

By way of simple, straight-line method, if you took the reduction in the economy now that we're out of the EU and extrapolated it to the entire period we were in the EU, then logically the UK economy would have been smaller during that period. Therefore, it's safe to say that our £10B a year contribution to the EU budget paid for the much larger economy we achieved.

Stick to using comparable economies.

Comparative reduction in the economy meaning, "The UK economy is estimated to be 5.5 per cent poorer now than it would have been had it stayed in the EU, according to a study by the Centre for European Reform that compares the UK's current performance with a counterfactual UK that did not leave the EU."

I thought that free trade deal talks between the EU and USA had never come to fruition. Perhaps you can tell me different, oh wise Zany one.

Meantime our so called democracy has gone from one cheating scumbag leader to the next while our economy sits flat on its face. I hope that's what you wanted.

That the £10bn didn't go towards all the things we now have to do individually, all that red tape? All those companies who have found that so difficult they've stopped exporting.
