Putin started the war. And if he's not defeated, Ukraine won't be the last country he invades although it'll take him a while to rebuild his tank forces.

In 2014 he illegally stole Crimea and sent the Wagner Group into Donetsk and Luhansk. The started the war. Then, last year he launched a full scale invasion.
Not the first time he's done something like this either. Chechnya. South Ossetia.
Man's a warmonger.

You mean he held a vote amongst Russian speaking people with Russian heritage then, but on another note I notice the Taiwanese are saying it must never resort in war, I guess they might have noticed how messy that can become.

Bastard did this to Grozny: From the early days of his Presidency, MPs and journalists who have spoken out against him have been murdered. In 2006 Anna Politkovskaya was shot dead after writing a book criticising him and his war in Chechnya. A month later Alexander Litvinenko was poisoned with Polonium 210. The problem, is Putin. And he needs to lose, if he doesn't, if he is successful, this will happen again, and again. And a vote at gunpoint is no vote at all.

You don't have to support the Yanks to oppose what Putin is doing.
This is Boris Nemtsov, he was gunned down four hours after criticising Putin in this interview.
His criticism is over Putin's attacks against Ukraine in 2014.

You don't have to support the Yanks to oppose what Putin is doing. It looks like by your pictures you are showing me, that is exactly what you are doing, supporting the Yanks. Which could have been easily avoided from the start by the Russians and the Ukrainians sitting down and sorting out their differences. But no, Uncle Sam wanted a war and got one. Now what? the population is displaced and the country is being turned into rubble just like we said it would. Oh I know we will send F-16's a little escalation never hurt anyone.

How am I supporting the Yanks? Russia was in the G8 when the 2nd Chechen war started. Russia was in the G8 when South Ossetia was invaded. Blair and Bush were mates with Putin. They ignored war crimes. A refugee was murdered with a radioactive poison on British soil, oligarchs were hording stolen money in the UK, still no sanctions took place. It wasn't until Putin sent mercenaries to steal Donetsk and Luhansk and soldiers to steal Crimea, and an airliner was shot down that the Yanks started to notice. Read this book: d-pdf.com/book/4453/readIt's by Anna Politkovskaya, whom Putin had murdered. It's banned in Russia. This is Bill Browder, he was a foreign investor in Russia. He and his accountant discovered corruption, his friend Sergei Magnitsky was murdered by the regime. At the time it happened, no sanctions were imposed. I've been following the situation since it started, since the Moscow Apartment bombings happened, the second Chechen war began and propelled Putin into power. Back in the 1990's there was a sense of hope. The Cold War had ended, the KGB had lost. Russia was becoming a democracy. Unfortunately KGB men were still there in the background and they had a plan B. Their plan B was Putin.

So by the same logic as your logic, if we hadn't done the right thing and fought Hitler, it would have been better because our cities wouldn't have been turned to rubble. We could have been a puppet state instead.
See the flaw in that logic?
Ukraine has been invaded. It's the fault of the invader.
Ukraine should not be forced to be a puppet state.
It should be a democracy and master of its own destiny, whatever it chooses to do.

Except your logic only adds up if you can convince everyone Vlad is another Hitler, which obviously you are convinced, I reckon there are other reason behind it all, which eventually will come to the light of day. As in the clue above.

The reason is simple, Putin is doing what he said he wanted to do, which is to rebuild the Empire.

Bakhmut and no doubt other places are the same. One thing is for sure, the name Putin will live on in history, just like Hitler.
