Reading through the threads a coomon theme is comparing the Tories to Labour, who sez what, when, and wot then happened.
Its slow, but were getting there. Neither is fit for purpose, or the system that organises it. So what to do about it? We dont need professional politicians, we need members of the public to run things, yup, politicians are divorced from reality, problem *1 solved. Problem number 2 solved, feet on ground, no political war for jobs, co-operation and fairness.
Or something like that. This cant go on. If i could id sweep it all away by the end of the day, politics is as corrupt as it gets. Looking at it dispassionately, we need laws, because at root everyone will take if they can, look at the water companies. ETC. SNP, State industries, county councils....whatever. AND YOU.
The reason im on a rant is because im honest, i havent cheated anyone, ever, i have a right to complain, but is it realistic?, no. If your in the sh it, expect to get covered in it.
This is how it is, and will always be, in this god forsaken hole anyway.

...Looking at it dispassionately, we need laws, ... Unfortunately, the legal profession is equally as stupid and corrupt and there are plenty of judges who need a good kick up the arse too.

Only honest people can complain, am i alone? The political class seem easily corrupted. Far too many politicians put ambition and self-interest before the good of the country. Politics attracts a certain kind of ego, I think, and politicians are often elected for all the wrong reasons. The people who are best equipped to do the work of running the country are not always drawn or suited to the job. What that means for the rest of us is that the incompetence, greed and excess we see on a daily basis is par for the course at this place and time. Beyond activism, there is not a lot the average citizen can do to change things.

What time do people start drinking on this forum. Depends what time their local benefits office opens and how long the lines are.

As a gammon, I would never even consider voting for someone who doesn't have a patrician drawl. Moggy for PM!!! I know my place!!

It always warms the cockles of the heart when another one realises what a futile exercise voting for the Westminster party is.
