Everything is in uproar, yesterday a cambs farmer is complaining that he makes losses on food production and is going bust , meanwhile food prices are up by at least a third, this on top of endless crises in every sector of government.
Someone needs to take charge, and this may be how.
We ditch seeing things as left or right, and judge actions, policies, interventions, on whether it is right or wrong.
Our main problem is political war, and using the country, its people as weapons.

Review some of the questions the bastards ask in interviews and you will see what I mean. They try and destroy their reputation. They then put themselves across as balanced and reasonable, where in fact they are full of shit.

Imaging a government where cross party cooperation was driven by the impetus to do what is right for the whole of society. One way to achieve that might be with a PR voting system which forces cooperation and compromise. We do have to bear in mind that one person's idea of what is right is another's idea of what is wrong, so it isn't easy.

The farmer was complaining that the chemicals he used to help crops grow went up thirty per cent, there is profiteering in every section of society, even in extremis like now, especially now, it has to be paid. In family therapy, the father is put in charge, to impose order on disorder, we dont have that.
The Tories have lost the plot completely, they allow the left and right to run riot. As in price increases, and as the Scotsman mentions the NHS and other state nonsense.
Sunak and the Tories try and please everyone, when what is needed is order, not disorder, regardless of a child or a wife having tantrums, and when order is restored, the benefits become clear and superceeds minor details like left or right.
Sunak is a schoolboy, he doesnt get leadership, its not about keeping the ship afloat, by concensus, but by authoritarian control. And when the ship no longer is heading for the rocks, let control become less, its what happens in wartime. At the moment weve got ten year old children, and a shouting silly wife in control. As per Labour.
We need a churchill, sporting his v sign to all. I can imagine the lefties reading this and howling at the moon. Britain is fekkered. There are higher vaues than partisan crap.

Agree 100% Which is why a United Europe, all the nations of Europe co-operating, working together for the good of all, cutting out red tape, breaking down barriers, having one set of rules and one set of regulations to make doing business easier and simpler is merely COMMON SENSE, it should not be a "right wing" or "left wing" concept. If a small business in Scotland producing smoked salmon can easily and quickly export goods to France and Germany because we are all part of the same Single Market, then what is either negative, bad or wrong with that. ? A United Europe is, and always was the dream of both Conservatives AND Labour supporters, and many in between, including the greatest Prime Minister this country has ever had, who was a Conservative.

As a trading block, the EU concept was fine. As a political union, not so much. The EU was a good idea that overstepped the mark. A step towards a one world government. And that's bad.

It would make it far worse. We would have a parliament with single-issue extremists, like groups that are "No to/Stop ---- (fill in as required)".
