UK’s most senior black officer retires amid bullying and discrimination claims (LOL) Britain's most high-ranking black police officer has left his job after being accused of bullying and discrimination. Deputy Chief Constable Tyron Joyce retired as head of the Police Race Action Plan, a national initiative to tackle racism and race disparities faced by black people who work within or come into contact with the police. His departure came after a complaint from his second-in-command, a female civil servant who accused him of undermining her in front of colleagues, The Telegraph reports. According to the newspaper, he also faced allegations including intimidation, lewd comments and discriminatory remarks by more than six colleagues during a previous leadership role. metro.co.uk/2023/05/15/uks-most-senior-black-officer-retires-amid-bullying-claims-18783655/I wonder if Labour will demand an inquiry? I jest of course. Inquiries are only for white police officers who are forced into early retirement over bullying and discrimination claims. I imagine the wokerati will be weeping into their cornflakes, but not to worry. I have every confidence a suitably qualified replacement has been earmarked for accelerated promotion. Of course, if a suitably qualified replacement cant be found then standards will be lowered until a replacement is found. The only proviso being, any replacement must be black. Yay diversity.

I think his skin colour irrelevant, his misdemeanours real or alleged are not.
Early retirement par for the course.

At least he cannot complain of being treated differently to other officers when faced with allegations…

Apparently some the allegations go back years but he was still promoted from his previous position. I wonder why, lol.

Apparently the same with Wayne Couzens, although the outcome was definitely worse…

No straws being grabbed at — only countering the manufactured straw-man argument that the minority ethnicity of one Police officer afforded him preferable treatment… Well blacks seem to claim that they are discriminated against and that they need to work harder than whites for promotion and ‘ positive discrimination’ was invented by lefties to overcome this problem . So either he worked harder than anyone else ( which doesn’t seem the case ) or he was promoted due to ‘ positive discrimination “.

Perhaps if you followed the debate you’d have seen that my argument was that the officer being highlighted in the opening post couldn’t claim either preferential or discriminatory treatment as he appeared to be afforded the usual treatment given to Officers facing allegations of wrongdoing…

Well done .
