He's an interesting guy. He studied Theology at Oxford, then he went into theatre and this was his line of work for a time and travelled in Albania, Turkey and Greece before becoming a professor at Moscow State Pedagogical University. Other notable things are that he was UKIP's candidate in 2015 and he did a spell on Channel 4 for "reality TV" which he later came to regret and is completely pissed off with the whole concept of it.
It's just that one day I caught up with his Youtube videos. They are like a personal political blog that happens several times a day in his house, and you get bits of news about the day's politics. For one thing it saves having to read all the shit yourself and you get it explained in an intelligent way, as one expects from an Oxford-educated professor. I've kind of got addicted to it and I will say he has a fine talent for explaining things in with an artist's eye and someone who has a literate talent. He's well read in the arts and anything to do with plays. You might think he is a rather odd kind of guy to become involved in politics, but in recent times he has opened up a whole new dimension where I see things in a way never really seen before. You see I'm the last sort of person to be involved in the art of directing theatre, like just not my cup of tea, although this guy is an expert and after while you start to notice that really and truly all we see each day are actors on a stage, and you see he understand how you do this in great technical detail.
Today's latest episode is on the acting skills of Nadine Dorries.
I love his cat as well. I'm glad the cat gets a good word in too.
