I dont know if they read this board, i suspect they do to gauge opinions.
I have voted tory all my life, apart from one when 18 and stupid, and as far as i know, so has my partner. True blues.
Not anymore.
No explanation needed.

Same here, although in the past I have occasionally voted Lib Dem depending on the local candidate.
The Tories have squandered an 80 seat majority by being functionally no different to a Labour government.
Why would I vote Tory? Indeed, why would I vote at all, other than as a protest, given that we will get the same government whatever the outcome of the election.

Im undecided as to how to vote. Yesterdays shambles in the commons shows how low the Tories have got, resorting to tactics a Libyan parliament would adopt. I will vote, probably Labour, thats my vote and my partners vote, if she votes Labour, thats minus two, plus the two that wont be registered with the Tories.
Thats minus four. Most dissafected Tories will vote lib dem, i want to punish them to.
In fact, if i could i would disband the Tories, they are infected with political garbage, best start again, you cant purge it all.

I doubt that your betrayal will cause the UK to sink beneath the waves

So likely a mongrel, then.
The English are an ethnic group and nation native to England, who speak a West Germanic language, and share a common history and culture.
The English are largely descend from two main historical population groups: the West Germanic tribes, including the Angles, Saxons, Jutes, and Frisians who settled in Southern Britain following the withdrawal of the Romans, and the partially Romanised Celtic Britons who already lived there.
Collectively known as the Anglo-Saxons, they founded what was to become the Kingdom of England by the early 10th century, in response to the invasion and extensive settlement of Danes that began in the late 9th century.
This was followed by the Norman Conquest and limited settlement of Normans in England in the later 11th century.
Some definitions of English people also include people descended from later migrations into England...

English people don't need to be told who they are, Pat.
