The problem for Charlie is he didn’t have a hard act to follow,it was an impossible one.
Many people haven’t forgotten about Diana and the promotion of the ugly sister to queen despite the relentless bs isn’t universally accepted either,he’s got issues too with parts of the country because they aren’t happy with Westminster and that’s despite problems with their own devolved govt.
Add to that him wanting to apologise for the past and taking advice from plants what could possibly go wrong?
The only light is apathy or the mistrust of the pillocks at Westminster and the prospect of one of them being president keeping him king.

Haha, no he was going around the coastline so think it was more the remote communities coming out and waving like they were royalty or the next best thing. Perhaps they don't see many visitors.
