The reason the EDL was refused permission to march the route they wanted to use was a predominantly Asian area which could have resulted in violence, hence the Police told them no which they can still do As for Political Violence on our streets over the last 50 years the majority of that has been orchestrated by the far left, who outnumber the far right I am also a Monarchist I also have sown Allegiance to the Crown years ago , there will be a Protest Rally by Republicans during the Coronation which will be held in Trafalgar Square which is on the route of the Coronation as long as they behave accordingly not a problem it is their right to protest, The reason for the EDL march was to protest against the frequency and continuing Pakistani grooming gangs. No point in protesting in a car park. Just stop oil do not protest in a farmers field they go to the area where cars abound and disrupt those they see as part of the problem. The Just stop oil also run teh risk of violence but then the police arrest or deter those who threaten or cause violence not the protestors. Double standards at work all round. The Police are in the middle, Protesters have no right to use violence , nor do members of the public who are rightly annoyed

It’s not down to the Home Secretary, police chiefs are appointed or dismissed by the police and crime commissioners, another bloody layer of unwanted drones. Section 42 of the Police Act 1996 provides that the Home Secretary can require the MPA (Metropolitan Police Authority) to exercise its power to call on the Commissioner (or other Chief Officer) in the interests of efficiency or effectiveness, to retire or resign. Yes I know that but afaik that only applies to the met not other forces who are regulated by P&CC

Could of of this be about clamping down on the protesters for Charlie’s do? Well they've already arrested one nut job for trying to blow up Buckingham palace FFS
I doubt King Charles will turn a hair like the rest of us, with a mob of banner waving anti-Monarchy (peaceful) protesters, it's their democratic right to do so, the Monarchy have been well aware for many years of anti-Monarchy protests, so it's nothing new to them, but it's one thing waving a banner and quite another when it turns to violence or terrorism.

SOME posts are really quite unbelievable - like this one for example, I suppose SOME Gestapo officers were not too bad really, deep down. And its gratifying to know that the nice EDL had the "occassional" exchange with just the "odd Muslim" There are not one or two instances of EDL violence, vandalism or intimidation to be found on the internet, there are HUNDREDS of examples, and everyone in their right minds knows full well that the EDL are nothing but a bunch of racist arseholes, who s history stems back to soccer hooligans and so called "casuals". But you're not in the right mind. You believe you have a special right to dictate who is and isn't allowed to protest, and you do this with propaganda. I know what the EDL are and I know the history of this Tommy Robinson character. I am under no illusion that he's Mr Innocent, but I know for a fact that the vast majority of violence is instigated by the Left. I've seen it first hand from AntiFA, who you probably adore.
There was nothing racist about the EDL.
The so called "English Defence League" was originally formed from soccer hooligans, skinheads, casuals and mostly young men with racist views. This is the difinitive, factual origins of the EDL. Many EDL demonstrations ended up in violence, usually fueled by over-consumption of alcohol, and often cocaine. Many EDL demonstrations ended up in attacking either Mosques, Asian businesses and sometimes Asian people, these attacks were often indiscriminate, with many Hindus and Sikhs physically attacked, and often verbaly accosted and intimidated with abusive, threataning and insulting language. Sometimes Temples (Hindu) and Gurdwaras (Sikh) were attacked This is what Wikipedia states about the EDL and EDL activity (all from testimony in court cases) >>
"although many attending its rallies stated that they did so because they enjoyed the adrenalin rush brought on by violent confrontation.[249] Some also described violent clashes as the best way to draw media attention to their cause,[250] and presented their violence as being heroic.[251] Meadowcroft and Morrow argued that many football hooligans joined the EDL because of the opportunity that its rallies offered for violence at a time when there were decreasing opportunities to do so at football matches themselves due to greater use of banning orders targeting known hooligans, a more effective police presence, and increasing ticket prices that had becoming prohibitively high for those on low incomes.[51]ANYONE who describes the EDL as "not racist" is basically an Arse Hole

Football hooligans are not racists. You can describe me as an arsehole all you like. After all, it's only coming from another liar in Labour.

MOST members of the so called "English Defence League" are opposed to the very British principle of Freedom Of Religion", they pursue ideals of hatred based upon a persons faith, and guess what ? .... Thats no different to how the Nazis were in 1930s Europe. Its not a matter of what I think, or what I believe, or my opinion, it is a simple matter of fact that the EDL are racist, bigoted, scum, and the organisation, though much depleted now, is borderline as to whether it should be a banned organisation, same as Britain First. Bullshit. They even stated that Muslims were becoming a victim of Islamist radicalisation and encouraged them not to support the Jihadis. You're just mad because they stood up to the racist grooming and rape of underage white girls and the Islamist radicalisation which led to terrorist attacks in this country, after your lunatic Labour party engaged in wars in the Muslim world whilst inviting potential terrorists in via mass-immigration. Maybe if your lot wasn't so hypocritical and shameless then the EDL wouldn't have existed. I understand that you follow the same agenda as Islamist terrorists, who blow people up to get their own way, but instigating violence, which your comrades do, against somebody and then demanding that this person should be shut down is extremism. I forgot to mention, they had no membership, which is further proof of Sid's dishonesty.

Sid is a lefty, an anarchist. He believes that anyone who waves an English flag is a far right extremist, that anyone who believes in English nationalism is a racist, but he fully supports Welsh or Scottish nationalism. Which kinda suggests he's a bit of a racist, a closet bigot. You know the sort...

Ideally it should have been Rees-Mogg types who protested, but considering what the EDL were standing up against (terrorists, extremists, rapists and the far-left ultra-violent wankers who support the Islamists) on the streets it was probably best to have somebody who wasn't scared of them as a representative.

I used to vote labour and I’ve been called a lefty liberal **** and I’ve also been called a nazi, extremists whether right or left are a pita but Yaxley Lennon is a mammoth ****.
