If I recall that was modelled on and voiced by Hattie MacDaniel who was also the maid in its a Wonderful Life. Wrong on both counts, I'm afraid. The actor providing both the Tom & Jerry vo and playing "Annie" - the Bailey's Maid - was the terrific Lillian Randolph. (I've introduced our cinema's screening of It's a Wonderful Life every Xmas Eve for 16 years. There's not much trivia about that movie I haven't got rattling around..) |

I have never thought she was very bright and this was political suicide and again this is probably overdue assuming she steps down.
As regards her child I do recall despite his better education he has not turned out too well either.

Its always a fun filled day when she opens her gob, she surely missed her true calling as a comic. We have to be realistic and honest, the only reason Diane Abbott has reached the political hights she's reached is purely because she played the racist card.
Her colour has got her where she is today, and white people have bent over backwards and grovelled to her for long enough, having to tip-toe round her, and watching their every word in case she played the racist card.
Academically she is stupid, she's not only stupid she's got no common sense either, her days of getting away with it because of her colour are now well and truly over, and we should do the same with anyone who believes they can climb the job ladder by using the racist card .... including washed up comedians, like Lenny Henry.

Well this is a first for me, I agree with Khan, at least he's had the balls to comment, we'll have the likes of Starmer/Rayer and the rest of them indirectly condemning her without actually saying as much, the Skeleton's in the cupboard are coming out a lot quicker than I anticipated. |

The irony will be that those most hated will be because they said something that was true, but at the time violently opposed by everyone of the masses who are in denial so attack the messenger. Like lets say Mr Hancock's real crime was threatening to grass on the covid fraud between MPs and their associates. You often find this out long after the event when stuff gets leaked or declassified. It makes you wonder what Raab really did to piss them off. It was not bullying - I can tell you that much for now. |
