The 'racism' intellectual ecosystem is vague, dishonest and lacks any trace of moral consistency or logic.
This ambiguity allows Dianne Abbot to launch racism motivated attacks on an ethnicity she feels should be targeted - and call it anti-racism - and it also allows Keir Starmer to dismiss her and call it anti-racism.

In todays Media
Diane Abbott submitted her "draft" letter on Jews and racism to a national newspaper on two separate occasions it has emerged, placing fresh scrutiny on the MP's conduct.
© GB News
The letter was sent from the MP's own email address a week before its publication in the Observer on April 23 but Abbott made no effort to revise the contents in this time, the Jewish Chronicle has confirmed.
Abbott's initial email to the Observer was rebuffed with a request for Abbott to include a postal address, which she sent back three hours later attached to an identical letter.
Jake Wallis Simons, Editor of the Jewish Chronicle, said: “The fact that it was sent from her own email address - not from one controlled by an aide - suggests that she was entirely in control of the process.”

Abbott has got away with so many things she thinks she's invincible, she actually believes she can say anything she likes without fear of repercussions, I can guarantee you her sheer arrogance will have her believing this will all blow over and it will be back to work as usual in a couple of weeks.
I think her luck has run out, she's always used the race card to her own benefit, and so far it's done well for her, but there's only so many times you can pull that card from sleeve and win, hopefully this dreadful, horrible human will just 'go away', and we never want to see or hear from the horrid creature again.

But she did suggest Jews do not face racism that what they face is prejudice. So it was not a lie. I have to confess though I do not see that as a hateful anti semitic remark. She is obviously trying to redefine racism and has been for years, so that racism is a special consideration for 'people of colour' however you wish to define that I suspect Starmer has been chomping at the bit to get rid of her as she was so closely aligned with Corbyn. The remarks were a bit indirect, but served Starmer's purpose to make him look more decisive than the Tories and tough on anti-Semitism. Exactly, Starmer was looking for a reason and an accusation of anti semitism is tailor made no matter how obscure or how oblique. It has become the accusation of choice by both the Tories and Labour that can instantly remove troublesome MPs from the party and sideline them. Heaven knows I cannot stand Abbott but being set up for a fall is wrong in anyone's book.

The Labour party wouldn't be the same without her. The race-baiting is quite cute and never bothered me - she was at least honest about how she makes her money and seriously exposed how flawed anti-racism really is. The issue that stands out were her views about wanting the IRA to defeat the British state.

I don't know whether you ever watched 'This Week' with Andrew Neil, Michael Portillo and yes Big Di. It was compulsive viewing imo. Michael Portillo would just smile as Andrew Neil absolutely trashed her argument. Happy days.

Indeed yes I remember that with great fondness. Abbott said 'black' mothers go to the wall for their children, Andrew Neil went for her and he didn't let go. Portillo, smiled and said nothing as Abbott dug herself into a hole.

The lefties seem to be avoiding this thread, which is OK, considering it is difficult to support a person who is innumerate, racist and out of touch with reality.

I was thinking about this story today while listening to radio phone in shows.
Starmer has a real problem on his hands.
It was obvious from listening to contributors that he is going to alienate let's call them metro Labour supporters, if he kicks her out.
In my opinion, Starmer needs to convince Abbott to retire from politics (she is 69), and not stand at the next election... that way they can both save face.

We are talking about Diane Abbott here, she'll have Stalmer squirming round her, demanding that she's being targeted because everyone is racist, and want her gone.
She's bloody unhinged, and her arrogance knows no bounds, she's going nowhere without kicking and screaming, she's gone through her whole life scheming her way to the top, someone who is as thick as two short planks, but cunning and devious, and dishonest.

I just see her as devils advocate. Typically when most of the country want these black foreigners to piss off, she will say, well hey, why not give them our jobs and invite them around for tea.
Anyway, whatever she does, you could say it is at least legit. I don't think she's done anything like the SNP with their fingers in the till. All she does is represent the ones we want to piss off like a lawyer would, i.e. blind to the the other guy's feelings etc. My client is wonderful.

A perfect excuse to get rid of an MP who is very bad publicity for Labour.
