Diane Abbott suspended as Labour MP after racism letter

I agree she was not being anti semitic per se, she was however trying to redefine racism, and has been trying to do that for many years along with a few others. She has not said anything different than what she has been saying for many years. So I am not clear what all the furore is about. It seems to be more a political move. Identical to Andrew Bridgen in many ways. When a party wants to silence an MP they look for anything that could be labelled anti semitic and use that as the means to lever them out. I disagree with almost everything that Abbott says but she has a right to say it and raise points for discussion. I would hasten to add that she does not reciprocate that outlook as she sees racism everywhere. 

so....nobody gives a shit about the Pikeys here....I guess their lobby isn't as well organised or funded.....

meh.....better than Keir Starmer pitching up I suppose....
