If they police believe them to be a danger to the general population they can, detain and deport them. Earth calling which bit of they have applied for Asylum do you not understand ? that means we cannot deport them until their application is investigated which may take months , nor can we deport them back their country of origin if they would face persecution torture or death , in order for Police to arrest anyone they have to have evidence to do so, in some cases we cannot even deport Terrorists convicted here And there is the crux of the problem. The Tories are deliberately dragging their heels on processing claims and are then releasing 'possible' nutters into our society. The Tories are a bigger danger to the UK than anyone. |

Most people known full well that undesirables have been getting into the UK by unlawful means for far to long, in the backs of lorries , vans boots of cars, and off course crossing the Channel day in day out , it is now known that last year 19 suspected Terrorists arrived here via the Channel, all of which applied for Asylum , therefore we cannot throw them out until their claim is assessed. Ask RedRum. I have always been consistent in my assertion that anyone that poses a danger to the UK should not be allowed in or deported when found here. The problem is that the government are mixing genuine asylum seekers with 'unwelcome' immigrants and claiming lefty lawyers and Labour want us to grant asylum to 'criminals'. This is not true and perhaps the most stupid thing I have heard. Why would anyone want to grant access to criminals? If you think of a reason, please share. |

I have always been consistent in my assertion that anyone that poses a danger to the UK should not be allowed in or deported when found here. The problem is that the government are mixing genuine asylum seekers with 'unwelcome' immigrants and claiming lefty lawyers and Labour want us to grant asylum to 'criminals'. This is not true and perhaps the most stupid thing I have heard. Why would anyone want to grant access to criminals? If you think of a reason, please share. We have been over this a million times. Anyone who pays a people trafficker to get them from safe country 'A' to safe country 'B' is a criminal and should be treated accordingly. |

How do we know they are criminals in the first instance? WE are not granting access to criminals they are all asylum seekers according to you and as such need to be processed, after that we can then remove them assuming that all the legal obstacles placed in the way of doing that are overcome. They rarely are so we end up keeping them, watching them and being subject to any criminal action they undertake. |
