A young Romanian woman murdered in Limerick had only been in Ireland for three weeks before she was killed in a frenzied stabbing. The victim has been named as Geilla Ibram (27).
Ms Ibram is believed to have only arrived in Ireland in early March – and was originally from Romania. The revelation came as PSNI officers continue to question a 26-year-old Afghan national, in Belfast.
It is hoped the man will voluntarily return to Limerick (In the EU) to assist gardaí with their inquiries. However, if he does not agree to return voluntarily, gardaí will consider seeking a European Arrest Warrant (EAW).

It would seem that deporting foreign criminals from Northern Ireland back to the EU, is a much simpler process than deporting them from Great Britain, which is odd considering Northen Ireland is a part of the UK.
